Claudia Winkleman’s Secret to 25 Years of Marriage Revealed During Romantic Night Out!

On Tuesday evening, Claudia Winkleman had an enjoyable night out with her husband, Kris Thykier, at the UK premiere of the film “Posso Entrare? A Tribute to Naples.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself brimming with enthusiasm while striking poses prior to settling down to watch Trudie Styler’s captivating documentary on an enchanting Italian city at the esteemed Regent Street Cinema in London.

52-year-old Claudia exuded effortless style in a sleek black velvet jacket and fitted denim trousers, complemented by a clean white blouse and stylish ankle boots.

Next to her stood film producer Kris, aged 53, dressed comfortably in a khaki jacket, and as he embraced his wife, he drew her close for a warm hug.

Apart from that, she took photos with Trudie (who is married to the musician Sting), both of them looking stylish; Trudie wore a shiny midi skirt and a shimmering boucle coat.

In June 2000, Claudia and Kris got married and subsequently had kids named Jake (age 21), Matilda (age 18), and Arthur (age 13).

Before celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this year, Claudia has shared insights on their enduring love, expressing gratitude for being ‘extremely fortunate’.

In a conversation, the host of Strictly Come Dancing elaborated on how Kris’ Danish lineage affects their bond, likening him to a bit of a Norseman, or in simpler terms, a little like a Viking.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, she referred back to the wisdom of Gwyneth Paltrow’s father, Bruce Danner, when discussing the key to their long-lasting marriage.

Claudia stated: “Bruce Danner was questioned, ‘Haven’t you ever considered getting divorced after such a long marriage?’ To which he replied, ‘Yes, but not simultaneously.’ That’s one of the best lines I’ve ever heard. I feel incredibly fortunate.

She added: ‘I can’t discuss Kris in detail as it might make him unwell, but he embodies the essence of Scandinavia thoroughly. It’s not just his responsibility, it’s a shared task for us.’

‘He has never asked, “What’s for dinner?” Instead, he might say, “What are we having for dinner? Should I start cooking something?” It’s a subtle change, but it expresses the same question with a slightly different tone.

Instead of saying, “He doesn’t ask me that. He looks it up. His whole family’s the same,” you could rephrase it as: “Instead of asking me when the kids go back to school, he just checks it up. That’s how they all operate.” This version maintains the original meaning and flows more naturally in conversational English.

Lately, the duo has been collaborating more frequently due to Claudia’s decision to leave talent agency YMU back in July and join forces with Little Arrow, a business that Kris established.

At present, Claudia manages the roles of being a host for Strictly Come Dancing, the hit show The Traitors, and the music program The Piano.

In a previous discussion, she shared insights on juggling work and family, humorously commenting, “My spouse is a superior caregiver compared to me.

‘We take turns helping each other out. If one of us gets overwhelmed, like when I’m too busy before the Strictly final, the other will step up to handle tasks such as buying Christmas gifts for our nephews and nieces.’

She mentioned that when it comes to showing affection, it’s clear that Kris is significantly more demonstrative, expressing it as follows: ‘I wouldn’t consider myself a romantic individual, but he definitely outshines me in that department, poor fellow!’
