As a huge fan of Claudia Winkleman, I was thrilled to learn her hairstylist finally shared the secret to her incredibly shiny, black hair! It’s especially exciting knowing she’s about to finish up with Strictly Come Dancing, and I want to try and recreate that look before the season ends!
She has graced the screens of Strictly Come Dancing with her shimmering hair since 2014.
After Claudia’s unexpected departure from Strictly Come Dancing, her hairstylist has shared the secret to her dark hair with fans.
Amy Short, Claudia’s hairstylist of more than five years, regularly uses three products: Color Wow Dream Coat and One-Minute Transformation Cream, along with Davines Shimmer Spray.
According to Amy, these products, costing between £20 and £30, will give hair a healthy shine and gloss, as Claudia desires, she told The Independent.
She shared that she achieves her signature sleek and shiny hair by using GHD platinum+ straighteners on small sections at a time.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman revealed on Thursday that they’re leaving their roles as co-hosts, sharing the news in a video they posted together.
Claudia addressed the camera, saying, ‘We’ve been hearing some concerns and wanted to share this information directly with you.’
Tess announced that after 21 fantastic years on Strictly, they’ve decided it’s time to leave and let someone new take over.
“That baton is really sparkly!” Claudia chuckled, then turned to her friend and fellow actor, saying, “You’ve been with me from the start.”
Oh my gosh, Tess was talking about Bruce, lovely Bruce Forsyth, and she said it was over twenty years ago! But then she turned to me and said a lot of their time together had actually been spent with me! I nearly fainted, honestly. It was just… everything!
I can’t believe how long we’ve been involved – it feels like forever, starting when our kids were just babies! Now they’re all grown up, and honestly, we’ve truly loved every single moment of it. It’s been something really special for our whole family.
Claudia went on to say how grateful they were to be a part of the wonderful show, and emphasized that the Strictly team are the ones who truly make it special.
We really enjoyed working together, and hosting Strictly was a wonderful experience for us.
I always knew we’d finish this journey together, and honestly, it feels like the perfect moment. We’re going to make the rest of this series absolutely incredible, and I just want to say a massive thank you to the BBC, and everyone involved – they’re all amazing! I’m so grateful for everything.
This team is incredibly talented, and we’re going to miss them dearly. It will be hard to say goodbye, but we’ll always remind each other to keep moving forward.
