Claudia Winkleman, the queen of the Traitors, now gets her own castle in the Cotswolds

Claudia Winkleman, known for hosting the show *Traitors*, has a home in the Cotswolds, which has been playfully dubbed her ‘castle’ due to its location in a popular area among celebrities.

Claudia, age 53, recently purchased a historic manor house for approximately £3 million and has since become part of a prominent social circle that includes Guy Ritchie, the Beckhams, and Jeremy Clarkson.

A friend says: ‘She and her husband have a long-term rental on a Cotswolds house.

They’ve been living there for about three years and really enjoy having a relaxing getaway from the city for vacations and weekends.

It’s not surprising to learn this, as her husband, Kris Thykier, a Danish film producer, has been friends with Guy Ritchie, who loves country life, for many years. They often enjoy shooting together at Ritchie’s Ashcombe Park estate.

Ritchie purchased the property while married to Madonna, and Kris and Claudia attended Madonna and Guy’s wedding at Skibo Castle in December 2000. Later, Kris produced Madonna’s 2011 film, W.E., which was about Wallis Simpson.

Claudia and Kris are the parents of three children: Jake, 22, Matilda, 19, and Arthur, 14. The family lives in London, in a home close to Marble Arch.

Claudia explained in an interview that she occasionally appears on television, but only for about two months out of the year. The rest of the time, she travels frequently and enjoys spending time with children.

I tend to hover and really bother my children, who constantly ask me for space. I just can’t help myself – it’s a habit I picked up from my own mother, Eve Pollard, who used to be a tabloid editor.

Oh my gosh, Claudia Winkleman is going to be *everywhere*! I can’t believe how amazing it is that she’s worth £9 million – totally deserved, honestly. I’m so excited because I’ll be able to watch her on Strictly Come Dancing every week all the way until December! And then, starting October 8th, she’s going to be on The Celebrity Traitors with Alan Carr *and* Stephen Fry?! Seriously, it’s going to be the best autumn ever. I’m already setting my DVR!

She recently switched talent agencies, leaving YMU and signing with Little Arrow. This new agency was started by her husband, Kris, and her previous agent, Holly Bott.

Kris is still very involved in filmmaking, and his newest project, the drama *Is This Thing On?* featuring Bradley Cooper, is generating a lot of excitement. It will have its first public screening at the New York Film Festival on October 10th.

He previously produced Kick-Ass, Operation Mincemeat and Luther: The Fallen Sun.
