Claudia Winkleman officially confirms next project for after The Traitors

It’s official: Claudia Winkleman is getting her own chat show on the BBC! This comes after the popularity of shows like The Traitors and Celebrity Traitors, and following her decision to leave Strictly Come Dancing.

The new show, The Claudia Winkleman Show, is being made by So Television, the company that also produces The Graham Norton Show.

The show will arrive on BBC One and iPlayer this spring as seven episodes, each lasting around 50 minutes. We’ll share the exact air date and time soon.

Claudia’s show will be a typical talk show format, with her interviewing famous people from the worlds of film, television, music, and more, all in front of a live audience.

We don’t know yet if the show will have any special features, such as Graham Norton’s iconic red chair, or who the guests will be.

Claudia expressed her disbelief and gratitude, saying she was incredibly thankful to the BBC for the wonderful opportunity.

I know I’ll probably do a terrible job, but I’m really excited they’re giving me a chance.

Graham Stuart, Managing Director and Executive Producer at So Television, explained that Graham Norton had made Friday night talk shows a must-watch. He said the challenge was finding someone equally talented, and they believe they’ve done just that with their new host.

According to BBC Entertainment Commissioning Head Kalpna Patel-Knight, Claudia is a beloved and talented personality. She’s known for being warm, funny, and captivating, and has a remarkable gift for making everyone feel comfortable and shine – whether they’re famous celebrities or everyday people in the audience.

I’m so thrilled to hear Claudia’s getting her own show on the BBC! I seriously can’t wait for everyone to tune in and see her chatting with all those amazing guests on her sofa – it’s going to be brilliant!
