Claudia Winkleman makes a rare online appearance children Jake, 20, Matilda, 17, and Arthur, 12, and her husband Kris Thykier as she shares a sweet family clip

On Sunday, Claudia Winkleman, along with her husband Kris Thykier and their trio of children, appeared uncommonly in a heartwarming family video that she posted.

In a jovial mood, the show’s host, aged 52, filmed a humorous TikTok clip with her children – Jake, 20, Matilda, 17, and Arthur, 12 – as they pretended to rejoice over their family pet being accepted into Harvard.

With her black and brown pet dog comfortably seated on her lap, Claudia tightly held onto the dog’s paws while she focused intently on her computer screen.

Looking equally intense, her family gathered around as they pretended to look at the results. 

As Claudia navigated her computer, the family enthusiastically embraced each other, feigning that their pet had somehow managed to gain entry into the esteemed institution.

In the year 2000, Claudia tied the knot with her film-producing companion. Previously, she shared insights on maintaining a harmonious blend of career and family life, humorously stating, “My spouse is a more competent parent than I am.

The television host openly admitted that her kids often ask for privacy during the nine out of twelve months when she isn’t engaged in hosting Strictly Come Dancing.

In a conversation with TopMob the previous year, she attributed her unfavorable behavior to her mother, Eve Pollard (age 76), who used to be an editor at a newspaper.

She started saying, “I ride the subway frequently, yet no one has ever recognized me throughout my entire life, not once. I travel on it four times a day with my children…

I occasionally appear on television, but it’s only for a couple of months out of the year. The remainder of the time, I’m quite active and moving quickly. For the rest of the year, I engage with children by showing them affection.

‘I follow them around and I’m a very annoying human being to them.’

‘They say, “Mum give us some space,” and I say “no”. I’m awful. It comes from my own mum.’

Claudia and her partner have lately been collaborating more frequently due to the fact that Claudia parted ways with talent agency YMU in July and moved on to work at Little Arrow, which is owned by Kris.

Currently, Claudia manages her responsibilities as the host for Strictly Come Dancing, the well-known series The Traitors, and the music program The Piano.

Previously, she shared insights on how she juggles her professional responsibilities with her personal life. She jokingly remarked, “My spouse is a more skillful caregiver than I am.

In simpler terms, ‘We take turns helping each other out. When one of us is overwhelmed, like when I’m too busy with the Strictly final approach and can’t manage much, the other person steps up to handle tasks such as getting Christmas presents for our nephews and nieces.’

She mentioned that when it comes to expressing affection, it’s clear that Kris is noticeably more affectionate. In her words, “I wouldn’t consider myself a romantic individual, but let me tell you, he’s far more romantic than I am – poor fellow!
