Clash Royale has added a new chest called the Frostfire Lucky Chest as a seasonal reward! It’s part of the game’s ongoing seasonal events and will only be available for a limited time during the current season. The chest contains cards, cosmetic items, and rewards to help you evolve your cards, with better rewards given based on how far you’ve progressed on the Trophy Road.
The Frostfire Lucky Chest works like past seasonal chests: it starts with simpler rewards in the earlier Arenas and then offers better prizes – like rare cards, Champions, Evolutions, and cosmetic items – once you reach Arena 10. Here’s a detailed explanation of how it works and how to get it.
Understanding the Frostfire Lucky Chest
The Frostfire Lucky Chest is a special, limited-time reward in Clash Royale that appears during seasonal events. Just like other Lucky Chests, the goodies you get inside depend on how far you’ve progressed in the game – specifically, your current trophy count.
If you’re in Arena 9 or lower, the chests you open will only contain common and rare cards. Once you reach Arena 10 or higher, you’ll get access to all cards, including epic and legendary ones, plus special rewards like Wizard Evolutions and limited-time cosmetic items.
Frostfire Lucky Chest available rewards
The Frostfire Lucky Chest contains cards with fire and ice themes, plus special rewards to help evolve your Wizard. It also lets you unlock unique cosmetics that are only available for a limited time.

How to unlock the Frostfire Lucky Chest in Clash Royale
Beginning January 19, 2026, you’ll have the chance to earn up to 15 Frostfire Lucky Chests by participating in these in-game events:
- Icy Inferno
- Path of the Heroes
- Clan Voyage
You might also be able to get Frostfire Lucky Chests through special giveaways, or you can buy them with Gems in the Shop.
During our testing phase, some players won’t immediately receive the Frostfire Lucky Chest this season. Those players will instead get Magic Lucky Chests, but they’ll still be able to unlock the Frostfire Lucky Chest’s exclusive items before the season ends.
