Clash Royale Tesla Evolution best decks guide
Story Highlights
- Tesla Evolution arrived with the Season 57 ‘Electro Birthday’ March 2024 update in Clash Royale.
- With a strong defensive card in Tesla, we discuss three best decks for the 4-elixir defense card.
As a dedicated Clash Royale enthusiast, I’ve found that the Card Evolution update has significantly ramped up the intensity of my battles. Choosing the right cards is no longer a casual decision, especially with troop evolution cards generating all the buzz. However, it’s the defensive Evolution cards like the Tesla that have been shining in the top-tier Clash Royale decks today.
Tesla has consistently been a reliable choice for thwarting opposing advances, and with its development, it’s become even more formidable. If you’re pondering how to construct an optimal deck featuring the Evolved Tesla, let’s explore some excellent strategies worth experimenting with.
Best Tesla Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale
In March 2024 during the “Electro Birthday” update for Season 57, I got my hands on two exciting additions: the Tesla Evolution and the Zap Evo! The upgraded Tesla has this incredible ability to emit an Electro Pulse upon placement, causing substantial damage and stunning enemies within a 6-tile area for half a second. Quite the game-changer, I must say!
Because the Tesla Evolution takes two activations, it’s crucial to construct a deck that reinforces its defensive capabilities and maintains a powerful response for counterattacks. Here are some top-tier decks to employ with the Tesla Evolution in Clash Royare.
1. Tesla, Skeletons, Fireball, X-Bow, Electro Spirit, Archers, Knight, The Log
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
An old yet recognizable strategy; I find it still effective. Your primary objective is to construct an X-Bow, backed by Tesla and economical troops like Skeletons and Archers as defense. The Knight serves as a sturdy mini-tank, capable of countering various deck setups with the right assistance.

Electro Spirits swiftly incapacitate groups of enemies who might jeopardize your X-Bow, while Fireball effectively tackles structures or mid-health units that disrupt your winning strategy. The Log serves as a protective measure against potential Goblin Barrel attacks and swarms.
As a fellow enthusiast, I’d lean towards choosing the Skeleton or Archer units for your collection.
2. Tesla, Royal Recruits, Graveyard, Ice Golem, Zappies, Zap, Flying Machine, Poison
Average Elixir Cost: 4.0
My preferred choices for card selection in this deck are Tesla and Royal Recruits, which function effectively across various scenarios. Essentially, these cards assist in playing a defensive game, enabling you to halt enemy advances while strategizing counter-attacks. The roles of Graveyard and Ice Golem become crucial in this setup, as they facilitate the defense strategy.

Gradually initiating the push, the mini-tank and winning condition function as a fortress for skeletons to accumulate. Poison is crucial for eliminating counterattacks directed at your Graveyard, while both Zappies and Flying Machine serve as defensive reinforcements. Despite its weight, if played tactfully, this deck has potential – give it a try by replicating the deck and experimenting with it here.
3. Tesla, Musketeer, Guards, Freeze, The Log, Archer Queen, Hog Rider, Miner
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
In this setup, both Hog Rider and Miner serve as our winning strategies, offering various methods for attacking towers. The Tesla and Musketeer combine to create a robust defensive foundation. Therefore, when it comes to choosing my second evolutionary choice, I’d go with the Musketeer.

The guards serve as a dependable defensive force, capable of warding off tanks and diverting their attention. Their effectiveness stems from the Archer Queen’s protection. The Freeze spell is a game-altering move when paired with the Hog Rider, particularly when opponents overextend their defense. You can duplicate the deck by following this link.
