New Cards: Heroes
The most significant new feature this season is the introduction of Heroes. Their arrival has also temporarily halted the release of new Evolutions – a first since Evolutions were first added to the game.
Okay, so this new season dropped, and they’ve added four awesome Heroes! We’re talking the Mini P.E.K.K.A, Musketeer, Knight, and Giant – all as Heroes now. If you want the full scoop on how these Hero cards work, I’ve put together a detailed guide you can check out.
Free and Diamond Pass Royale Details
The December update brought a major change to Pass Royale! Now, there are two different versions of the Pass, depending on how far you’ve progressed in the game. This means the rewards for both the free and paid tracks have been updated, and now include things like Hero Boxes, Wild Shards, and new tiers for Lucky Chests.
Players in Arenas 14 and below will receive rewards designed to help them advance, such as more Wild Shards and a chance to win a 5-Star hero from a Lucky Chest. Players in Arena 15 and above will now have access to monthly Heroes, Hero Boxes, and better Magic Lucky Chests.

With the Diamond Pass, you’ll get the Musketeer Street Tower Skin and a brand-new, anime-style Musketeer emote. The Free Pass, on the other hand, focuses on rewards like Gold Crates, Boost Potions, and Lucky Chests.
