- A Tier: Cards in this list are mediocre and may be useful in some scenarios.

Best Meta Cards for Clash Royale Season 62 in August 2024
In June 2024, a significant update was rolled out, particularly impactful for the Goblin card collection. Three new Goblin cards were introduced, but the one causing chaos was undoubtedly the Goblin Machine. Prior to the emergency fix, it had some serious issues (still questionable to an extent). The other two additions are also worth mentioning as they are decent cards. I won’t compare them with the temporary game modes like the Goblin Queen’s Journey or Tower Troop, as those aren’t intended for long-term use in other game modes.
In the realm of Season 60, I’ve found myself quite intrigued by the upgrade that hit Goblin Barrell – a card I’ve always held in high regard. The Card Evolution update has made this already formidable tool even harder to counter, solidifying its status as a go-to choice for me.
It’s worth mentioning that the Royal Giant card stands out as the best among them all, and I would argue it deserves an even higher ranking. Additionally, we’ve recently introduced a new Tower Troop known as Dagger Dutchess, which is quite powerful and has proven effective in both of its releases so far. Therefore, these are my preferred choices for now.
In the December 2023 update, Ice Spirit Evolution received an enhancement, also known as a buff, while both Archer Evolution and Goblin Giant underwent substantial weakening, or nerfs. Despite Phoenix being a reliable card for many players, the recurring balance adjustments, particularly the nerfs, may not guarantee her continued popularity among cards. While Ice Spirit users might be concerned about the freeze duration, it remains part of a robust collection of cards, so they need not fret.
