Okay, so the Royal Hogs got a major glow-up in Clash Royale with the November 2025 update – Season 77, “When Hogs Fly.” They’ve basically gotten a whole new look and can now fly when they evolve! Seriously, who doesn’t want flying hogs in their deck? It’s awesome!
Everyone’s paying attention to how powerful this new version of the card is, and it’s really making it shine. In this guide, I’ll show you some of the best decks you can create to get the most out of the Flying Pigs.
Best Decks for the Royal Hogs Evolution in Clash Royale
Evolved Royal Hogs keep their usual strength and speed, but now have a special ability called Flying Pigs. When they charge, they briefly take to the air and glide towards the closest building, leaving a subtle rainbow trail. Once they land, they cause a small amount of splash damage before acting like regular Royal Hogs.
This change happens every two rounds, so we need to adjust our strategy to take advantage of it. With that in mind, here’s my plan…
1. Royal Hogs, Royal Ghost, Skeleton King, Fisherman, Flying Machine, Zappies, Skeleton Army, Arrows
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
We’re using two Royal cards that evolve: Royal Hogs and Royal Ghost. The Royal Ghost’s evolution creates extra Souldiers, which work great with the Hogs. And the Skeleton King acts as a strong, durable tank that complements all of your swarm-based cards.
Fisherman acts as your main defender, drawing enemy troops away from your towers, and Flying Machine provides reliable long-range damage. Zappies and Skeleton Army are great for defense too. 2. Royal Hogs, Archer Queen, Skeletons, Ice Spirit, Tesla, Earthquake, Royal Delivery, Log
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
This deck focuses on playing cards quickly, which can frustrate opponents. The new Flying Pigs ability makes Royal Hogs a powerful way to win, and this deck is built to take full advantage of that speed.
The Archer Queen is a strong defensive unit that can quickly launch counterattacks with her special ability. Teslas offer reliable support and can be upgraded as a secondary focus. Skeletons, Delivery, and The Log are effective at dealing with large groups of enemies and diverting their attention. The core strategy is to play defensively, build up chip damage, and then counterattack. Give this deck a try!
3. Royal Hogs, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Ice Golem, Magic Archer, Cannon Cart, Heal Spirit, Fireball, Log
Average Elixir Cost: 3.4
I like this deck the best because it’s super unpredictable and fast-paced. It focuses on controlling the arena with well-timed plays. You can defend efficiently with the Ice Golem, stop attacks without spending much elixir, and then launch a powerful counter-attack with Hog Evolution while the Mini P.E.K.K.A acts as a durable front-line unit.
Cannon Cart is key for controlling the battlefield, while Heal Spirit helps your remaining troops stay alive and potentially deal a small amount of extra damage. Fireball and Log work great together, and Magic Archer provides strong long-range defense. You can find the full deck details here.
