As a seasoned gamer with over a decade of Clash Royale under my belt, this free Card Evolution event has certainly caught my attention! I remember the days when such opportunities were merely dreams. It’s like Supercell is reading my mind and decided to gift us all an upgrade for our decks.
It’s certainly enticing to read the title, but let me clarify that this isn’t a trick or gimmick. Starting on August 26th, 2024, Supercell’s popular game Clash Royale is offering a free Card Evolution event. By logging in each day until September 4th, 2024, you can earn additional rewards as well!
How to get a free Card Evolution in Clash Royale
Skip the small talk and let’s jump right into it! In the game, you’ll find an easy way to select the evolution you prefer. A prompt will appear on your screen that allows you to make your choice. Here’s a list of available options for your convenience.

As a gamer, I’m making it clear that some of the freshest Evolutions, which have only just arrived in the recent seasons, won’t be an option for you, unfortunately. However, there’s a plethora of other choices available, all of which are top-notch picks for this event. If you feel like changing your mind about your selection at any point during the event, you have the freedom to alter your choice whenever you wish, but remember to do so before the event concludes.
If you’ve got Evolution Shards for the chosen card, you’ll receive 1,000 shards of that same card for every leftover shard. After making your selection, a popup will appear to confirm your choice and you can collect your Evolution from the shop between September 4th and 13th, 2024.
During the promotional period, if you fail to select an Evolution, one will be assigned automatically, specifically the Archer’s Evolution. In case you’ve already obtained all Evolutions, your Evolution Shards will instead transform into Wild Cards.
Best Evolution to pick in Clash Royale
As a collector myself, I often find myself torn between two options when it comes to freebie cards: One strategy is to opt for the rarer evolution that I don’t have yet, expanding my collection; another approach is to choose the card that could potentially boost my game performance in future matches. It all depends on personal preferences and goals!
In my opinion, based on your main deck, you should go with whatever card feels right to you.
