Heroes in Clash Royale are stronger versions of regular cards, and like Champions, they have a special ability you can use in battle. They’re valuable additions to any deck, so it’s important to collect them and the Hero Boxes they come in.

How to Get Hero Boxes in Clash Royale

You can earn Hero Boxes by taking part in special events and by leveling up in the seasonal Pass Royale.

There are two main approaches: one involves effort and a bit of chance, while the other is more relaxed – you just progress by earning Crowns within the Pass Royale system.

How Many Hero Fragments Can You Get in Hero Boxes?

Hero Boxes are similar to Lucky Chests and come in different rarities – from 1-Star to 5-Star. The higher the star rating, the better the rewards you’ll get. You can improve the quality of your Hero Boxes by progressing through the Arenas. These boxes contain Hero Fragments, as previously noted.

After gathering 200 Hero Fragments, you’ll get a random Hero. Keep in mind you might receive a Hero you already have. If this happens, you’ll instead get a lot of Cards matching that Hero’s type, plus 60 Hero Fragments.
