Clash Royale Electro Dragon Evolution best decks guide

In the game Clash Royale, the addition of Card Upgrading has made the fights more challenging for both players and opponents. One of the rare epic cards to receive an upgrade card is the Electro Dragon, and it has been one of the most powerful cards in Clash Royale, easily integrating with various decks.

With the Electro Dragon Evolution being a potent tool, let’s delve into the top deck choices that make the most of it during different events and challenges in Clash Royale.

Best Electro Dragon Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale

In the October 2024 update for ‘Shocktober 2’ Season 64, the Electro Dragon, in my opinion, is an awe-inspiring evolution. When this evolved Electro Dragon is vanquished, it retaliates with a final chain of lightning strikes, sometimes hitting the same target more than once.

To set off the Electro Dragon’s evolution, it requires one cycle, ensuring no concern over the deck’s cost. Simply work on cycling the Electro Dragon more frequently during your games. Considering its powerful traits, I’ve compiled my top three recommended decks for you.

1. Electro Dragon, Mega Knight, Skeleton Barrel, Dart Goblin, Bats, Goblin Gang, Zap, Miner

Average Elixir Cost: 3.5

As a gamer, I rely heavily on my Mega Knight for both defensive resets and offense. When enemies are clustered together, I strategically place the Mega Knight to take them down first. Then, my Skeleton Barrel and Miner step in to gradually whittle away at the tower. My secret weapon is the Dart Goblin, who sneakily attacks from a safe distance. Meanwhile, my Bats and Goblin Gang are cleverly baiting out enemy spells.

The true enchantment unfolds when your adversary carelessly uses their Zap or Log, leaving your Evo Electro Dragon free to electrify defending troops as the Skeleton Barrel rushes in. Coordinating a Mega Knight and Miner offensive at this juncture is crucial. Now, it’s time to examine the deck’s performance.

2. Electro Dragon, Cannon, Musketeer, Royal Ghost, Hog Rider, Skeletons, Ice Spirit, Mini PEKKA

Average Elixir Cost: 3.1

This is my preferred high-speed bicycle strategy deck. The Hog Rider serves as the winning move, but it’s the Evo Electro Dragon that truly elevates this deck, due to its ability to cycle it more swiftly than typical. Cannon and Mini PEKKA take care of tanks, while Musketeer is for defending both ground and air assaults.

In this strategy, it’s important to maintain a consistent offensive: Use Hog Rider with Ice Spirit in one lane, then place Royal Ghost in the other when they focus too much there. Often, opponents make mistakes when you accumulate cards, so exploit those errors. However, keep in mind that no deck is perfect, so be cautious with your plays. Here’s a copy of the deck for you to play.

3. Electro Dragon, Royal Giant, Barbarian Barrel, Fire Spirit, Furnace, Guards, Inferno Dragon, Lightening

Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

In this matchup, I’ve got an annoying pairing of Electro Dragon and upgraded Royal Giant. To add to the frustration for my opponent, I’ve incorporated a Furnace and Fire Spirit into the mix. This setup consistently deals damage, making it tough for opponents to counter effectively. The win condition here is the evolved Royal Giant.

The Inferno Dragon and Lightning are useful for defense, effectively taking out any structures that pose a threat to the Royal Giant. The Guards offer sturdy defensive backup, while the Barbarian Barrel functions as a supportive spell for dealing minor damage. You can find this deck’s layout here.
