When you begin playing Clash Royale, you start with just eight cards, which make up your initial deck in Arena 1. As you progress through the game and unlock new arenas, you’ll gain access to more cards. However, having a larger collection can make it challenging to choose the best cards for your deck.
Arena 14 in Clash Royale offers a lot of new choices, which can be confusing. You’ll unlock powerful win conditions like the Electro Giant and helpful spells like Vines, making it harder to decide which cards to use. To help you navigate this arena, we’ve created some well-rounded decks, and we’ll also explain all the new cards you’ll find!
Clash Royale Arena 14 Cards

Arena 14 in Clash Royale introduces eight new cards for players to use. While you won’t find any tower-targeting troops, the update includes a variety of spells, ways to win the game, and supporting units. The new cards are Royal Delivery, Elixir Golem, Goblin Curse, Rage, Goblin Drill, Executioner, Night Witch, and Lumberjack – a mix of two win conditions, three spells, and three support cards.
Below, you’ll find a quick look at what each of them brings to the table.
Royal Delivery
Royal Delivery is a special spell in Clash Royale. Unlike other spells, you can only deploy it on your side of the arena. When used, it deals significant area damage to nearby enemy troops – even more damage than the Arrows spell.
When a Royal Recruit takes damage, it falls over and assists with defense. Just be aware of a three-second delay before it does. If you use it skillfully, it can effectively stop your opponent’s attack.
Elixir Golem

The Elixir Golem is a powerful unit unlocked in Arena 14 that can help you win battles. It targets enemy towers and structures, dealing significant damage if it reaches them. When destroyed, the Elixir Golem breaks apart into two smaller units called Golemites. These Golemites attack quickly, but aren’t as durable or strong as the original Golem. If the Golemites are defeated, they each split into two even smaller Blobs. These Blobs attack very rapidly, but have very little health and deal minimal damage.
Okay, so the Elixir Golem sounds awesome, right? But there’s a catch. Whenever my opponent takes out a piece of it – whether it’s the main Golem, a Golemite, or a Blob – they actually get extra elixir as a reward! The big Golem gives them one elixir when it dies, and each of the smaller Golemite and Blob bits gives them half an elixir. It’s a risky play, because you’re basically fueling their attacks if they manage to take it down.
Because of this, players of Clash Royale often use it alongside the Battle Healer, who can continuously restore its health. This allows you to inflict more damage and also reduces the amount of extra elixir your opponent receives.
Rage
Rage is a popular spell used in many aggressive decks. It speeds up both your troops and towers, increasing their movement and attack speed, and also adds a small amount of damage to their attacks.
While the damage isn’t massive, it’s sufficient to quickly eliminate weaker troops like Spear Goblins and Skeletons. This makes it a great complement to strong cards such as Elite Barbarians, PEKKA, and Mini PEKKA.
Goblin Curse

Goblin Curse is a bit of a gamble – it doesn’t always work well, depending on who you’re fighting. However, when it does work, it can really change the battle. It gradually weakens enemy units, and when those units are defeated, they transform into Goblins that fight for you.
This card is most effective when used with low-cost spells such as Zap or Rage to quickly eliminate enemy units. It’s particularly strong against large groups like Skeleton Army or Goblin Gang, and can catch opponents off guard by turning their own troops against them.
Goblin Drill
I remember when the Goblin Drill was pretty much ignored by everyone! But after its recent buff, it’s become a real force in the game. What’s so cool about it is you can drop it anywhere on the map, and a bunch of Goblins just pop out – it’s a great way to surprise your opponent!
If the Goblin Drill is defeated, it releases additional Goblins that can quickly inflict significant damage unless your opponent intervenes. A good strategy is to pair it with the Evo Giant Snowball, which can push back enemy units and allow the Goblins to reach the enemy tower.
Executioner

The Executioner is a powerful card costing five Elixir. He throws an axe that damages enemies twice – once as it travels forward, and again as it returns. This makes him especially effective at eliminating groups of troops.
The Evo Executioner is even more effective because his axe both damages and pushes back enemies. This can really disrupt anyone trying to attack your base.
Night Witch
The Night Witch is similar to the Witch, but she creates Bats instead of skeletons. She costs four Elixir and can’t attack flying troops on her own.
While her Bats aren’t a threat to ground-only units, they can easily defeat almost any unit that can’t target airborne troops. She pairs effectively with strategies focused on units like Golem and Elixir Golem.
Lumberjack

The Lumberjack is a powerful unit with a lot of health and strong attacks. When he’s defeated, he releases a Rage spell, boosting the speed and damage of your other troops. Because of this, it’s best not to send him into battle by himself.
To get the best results with the Lumberjack, try using him with cards like the Balloon. When your opponent eliminates the Lumberjack, the Rage effect will strengthen the Balloon, allowing it to damage the enemy tower more effectively.
Best Clash Royale Arena 14 Decks (Serenity Peak Decks)
The three Arena 14 decks below will help you tackle the challenges ahead.
Giant Graveyard Deck

| Clash Royale Cards | Elixir Cost |
|---|---|
| Giant | Five |
| Witch | Five |
| Minions | Three |
| Guards | Three |
| Snowball | Two |
| Arrows | Three |
| Graveyard | Five |
| Bowler | Five |
This deck is currently popular in Arena 14, largely thanks to streamer Jynxzi using it. It focuses on two main ways to win: by using the Giant card, or by building up a strong Graveyard attack. Players can also choose to use the Hero Giant instead of the regular Giant if they prefer.
When defending, Guards are effective against tanks, and Bowler excels at taking out groups of enemies. Evolutionary Witch is a strong choice for both defense and launching a powerful attack. A push combining Evolutionary Witch, Giant, and Graveyard is very difficult for opponents to counter.
The average elixir cost of this Arena 14 deck is 3.9.
Lumberloon Bait Deck

| Clash Royale Cards | Elixir Cost |
|---|---|
| Lumberjack | Four |
| Bats | Two |
| Princess | Three |
| Ice Spirit | One |
| Goblins | Two |
| Balloon | Five |
| Snowball | Two |
| Barbarian Barrel | Two |
This deck focuses on a powerful combination: the Lumberjack and Balloon. It also includes low-cost cards like the Princess, Goblins, and Bats, allowing you to play your cards quickly and consistently.
When you’ve collected enough elixir, launch a strong attack with the Lumberjack and Balloon. Combining the Snowball with the Balloon is effective – the Snowball can freeze opponents and defenses, giving the Balloon time to deal significant damage.
The average elixir cost of this Arena 14 deck is 2.6.
Golem Night Witch Deck

| Clash Royale Cards | Elixir Cost |
|---|---|
| Golem | Eight |
| Elite Barbarians | Six |
| Lumberjack | Four |
| Night Witch | Four |
| Arrows | Three |
| Zap | Two |
| Bomber | Two |
| Mega Minion | Three |
This deck requires a significant amount of elixir to use, but it’s incredibly powerful when played effectively. The Lumberjack is excellent for taking out tough opponents and boosting your own troops. The Night Witch complements the Golem perfectly with her supporting bats.
This deck originally features Elite Barbarians, but because Golem is already a costly card, you might prefer a more affordable option. Alternatively, the Electro Dragon evolves nicely with Golem and is worth considering.
The average elixir cost of this Arena 14 deck is 4.0.
