Overview
The Balloon Festival is a special, temporary event where you can collect and use Balloon Tokens. It’s expected to happen in April as part of Season 82, but the exact dates are still to be announced.
Throughout the festival, you can earn tokens by participating in monthly events and challenges. These tokens can then be spent in a special Festival Market where you’ll find unique rewards.
If you take a closer look at the Festival Market, you might be reminded of something that used to be here. It’s not quite the same, but it definitely feels similar to the old “Season Shop” that was removed with the March 2025 update.
Balloon Tokens and Progression
Balloon Tokens are the main way to earn rewards during the event. You get them by taking part in special seasonal events and challenges. While you won’t earn them just by playing regular matches, consistent participation in monthly events and challenges will help you collect plenty of tokens, so keep playing!
You earn tokens based on how well you’re doing. You can then use these tokens in the Festival Market to get rewards.
Festival Market and Rewards
As we discussed before, the Festival Market is where you’ll use your Balloon Tokens. It’s like a limited-time store that’s only open during the event.
Unlike traditional reward systems, you get to choose your rewards based on how many tokens you’ve collected. The more tokens you earn, the more options become available, but if you haven’t earned enough, you’ll need to make strategic choices.
You can earn rewards like Banners, Lucky Chests, and Emotes. Each one costs a set amount of Balloon Tokens, letting you choose what you want and advance at your own pace.
