Clash Royale Balance Changes for Nov 2025 (Buffs and Nerfs)

Clash Royale updates its gameplay every month with a new season. These updates often shift which cards and strategies are most effective – what’s known as the ‘meta.’ New card evolutions and adjustments to card strength are introduced with each season. Powerful cards might be weakened (‘nerfed’), while underperforming ones are strengthened (‘buffed’). These changes determine the best ways to play for that season. For instance, the Evo Witch was initially very powerful, but after several adjustments to reduce her strength, she’s become less commonly used.

The November 2025 update for Clash Royale is here, bringing the usual balance adjustments! Some cards have been made weaker, while others are stronger, which will change how people play the game. To keep your decks competitive this season, it’s helpful to know what’s been updated. Here’s a summary of all the balance changes coming in the 77th season of Clash Royale this November.

Here are all the cards that are being nerfed in the next season:

Evo Royal Ghost Nerf Details

It’s not surprising Evo Royal Ghost received a significant weakening. Players immediately recognized it was overpowered when it launched last month. Supercell often releases things that are too strong, then adjusts them after they become widely used.

The Evo Royal Ghost functions similarly to its standard version. However, when it appears, it now creates two Souldiers that attack very powerfully. These Souldiers deal a lot of damage as soon as they appear and continue to attack relentlessly. Recently, a change was made to reduce their damage by almost 50%.

Elixir Pump Nerf Details

Wow, I was really surprised to hear the Elixir Pump is getting nerfed! It’s that building that costs six elixir and slowly generates more for you over time. It’s not something you see in every deck, but when it works, it can be super powerful, especially if your opponent doesn’t have a spell like Rocket or Lightning to take it out.

The Elixir Pump currently creates one elixir every 12 seconds, but this will increase to 13 seconds in the next season. While it doesn’t seem like much, this change will add up over the course of a match. As a result, we anticipate seeing fewer Three Musketeers decks, since most of them depend on the Elixir Pump to generate enough elixir.

Goblin Hut Nerf Details

The Goblin Hut is a very powerful building in Clash Royale and has been frequently used in popular decks. To balance the game and give other buildings a chance to shine, Supercell is making it slightly weaker.

The Goblin Hut creates Spear Goblins when enemies approach. We’re slowing down how quickly it creates them. Previously, a Goblin would spawn every 1.9 seconds, but after this change, it will take two seconds.

All Buffs in Nov 2025 Balance Changes in Clash Royale

Here are all the cards that are being buffed in the next season:

Rascals Buff Details

Rascals is a card that summons a boy and two girls. The boy fights up close, similar to a Knight, and the girls attack from afar like Archers. Initially, the boy wasn’t very strong, so players generally prioritized the girls because they dealt more damage.

Supercell is slightly increasing the boy’s power. His damage will now be 6% higher, going from 204 damage per attack to 217.

Phoenix Buff Details

The Phoenix has historically been an uncommon card in Clash Royale. It costs four elixir and can attack both flying and ground troops. Its special ability is that when it’s defeated, it leaves behind an egg that hatches into a smaller, baby Phoenix. However, players haven’t used it much because the baby Phoenix didn’t do a lot of damage, and the original Phoenix wasn’t very strong either.

Supercell is significantly strengthening the Baby Dragon. They’re increasing its health and damage by 25%, which should make it a more powerful and versatile card in various strategies.

Spirit Empress Buff Details

Spirit Empress is a versatile card because it can function as either a ground or air unit. Initially, its air form was very powerful and frequently used in competitive decks, but it was quickly weakened. The ground version, however, has consistently been less effective.

Supercell is slightly increasing the health of this unit by 10%, raising it from 1134 to 1244. Even with this improvement, though, many players will likely still choose the Knight or Berserker for defending against ground attacks.

Evo Goblin Drill Buff Details

Goblin Drill has consistently been a reliable way to win games, particularly in decks built to play cards quickly. However, it hasn’t received many significant improvements over time.

The Evo Goblin Drill creates Goblins and dips underwater, reappearing near your tower when damaged. While it wasn’t very impactful before, a recent update has made it stronger: now, when it first submerges, it will spawn two Goblins instead of just one.

Golden Knight Buff Details

This isn’t a typical improvement, but a bug fix. Previously, the Golden Knight would get stuck endlessly chasing an enemy if it moved out of his attack range – for instance, he’d start dashing towards an Ice Golem, but if the Golem moved away, he’d just keep following it forever. Now, Clash Royale is resolving this by significantly speeding up his dash, reducing the delay from 200 milliseconds to just 50 milliseconds.

Little Prince Buff Details

Okay, so they’re giving the Little Prince a little boost! His little guardian – you know, the one you can summon for three extra elixir – is getting tougher. It used to have 202 health, but now it’ll have 217, which is a 7% increase. Honestly, if you’re not using the guardian, this change won’t really affect you, but it’s nice to know it’s getting a bit stronger for those of us who do!
