The latest episode of TV Royale showed off upcoming updates for Clash Royale in August 2026. The theme for this season is chaos! Supercell will be adding two new Heroes, a completely new Evolution card, and special chaos-themed game modes with fresh competitive events and rewards.

Clash Royale August 2026 Season update: What’s set to arrive
Two new Heroes: Berserker and Valkyrie
Two new heroes, Berserker and Valkyrie, are coming in August. Berserker’s key ability is entering a powerful “Berserk Mode.” When activated, a spirit animal appears, boosting her attack speed and letting her fight on even when critically injured – she won’t fall below 1 HP.
Berserker is a tough frontline fighter who can’t be defeated while her special ability is active, allowing her to keep attacking even when swarmed by enemies. You’ll need to strategically plan your attacks and defenses when she activates Berserk Mode. You can unlock the Hero Berserker for free by participating in Ken’s Chaos Draft League.
I love playing as Hero Valkyrie! She’s all about getting right into the thick of things, zooming around the battlefield. Her special ability lets her speed up and basically spin through enemies, hitting a whole bunch of them at once. It’s super effective for taking out groups!
Hero Valkyrie is different from Hero Berserker – she can still be hurt and defeated while her ability is active. If there are no enemies nearby for her to dash at, she’ll keep spinning until the ability runs out. You’ll be able to unlock the new Hero Valkyrie through the Pass Royale.
Evolution upgrade for Elite Barbarians
A significant update is coming to Clash Royale, giving Elite Barbarians a new Evolution. When evolved, these Barbarians will gain a unique ability: they’ll throw javelins enhanced with Rage at opponents and towers before they start charging, adding a whole new dimension to their attack.
Javelins leave a fiery trail across the Arena, increasing the Barbarians’ attack power as they advance. This allows Elite Barbarians to deal more damage from a distance while maintaining their classic charging attack. You can get evolved Elite Barbarians for free from Ken’s Shop during the August event.
Ken’s Chaos Draft League
The August update includes a new competitive event called Ken’s Chaos Draft League. It’s played like a traditional Draft, where you pick four cards and your opponent receives the other four.
Once your draft is finished, you’ll choose a modifier to change up the gameplay. The first Ranked Ken’s Chaos Draft Season lasts for two weeks and offers great prizes, like a free opportunity to earn the Hero Berserker!
New CHAOS modes and tournament
Supercell is adding new, temporary game modes to Chaos throughout the season. Keep an eye out for Epic Only Chaos, Sudden Death Chaos, and Infinite Elixir Chaos!
This update lets you create custom Chaos Draft tournaments to play with clanmates and friends. You’ll also find Chaos gameplay in friendly battles and some relaxed, casual game modes.
In addition to the regular in-game events, Supercell is launching the very first Chaos Mega Draft Global Tournament. Like the standard Chaos Draft, you’ll build your decks with your opponent before special rules change up the gameplay. Participate to win prizes and see how high you can climb on the leaderboard!
