Clash of Clans revives Eagle Artillery for Town Hall 17 and above, but with a twist

If you’re a Clash of Clans player at Town Hall 17, you likely were disappointed to find out the Eagle Artillery is removed when you upgrade to Town Hall 16 and create the Inferno Artillery. Now, over a year after that update, there’s a bit of good news: while the Eagle Artillery won’t be coming back as a functional building, you’ll soon be able to get a decorative version of it.

Folks at TH16 and below won’t be getting the Eagle Monument deco, as it should be

Good news! The Eagle Artillery decoration is now available for all players at Town Hall 17 and above. It won’t be available at Town Hall 18, so grab it now! You can find it in the Decorations tab – it’s a nice way to show off your base!

The Eagle Monument’s design isn’t a perfect copy of the original Eagle Artillery, but it definitely brings back memories. While it doesn’t actively defend your base anymore at Town Hall 17, it’s still a striking building, and it’s hard to forget how important it was to our defenses up until Town Hall 16.

Many players felt the Eagle Artillery wasn’t strong enough at higher Town Hall levels, particularly after Town Hall 13 and 14, and that a change was necessary. I agree with switching to the Inferno Artillery – it seems like a much more dependable and effective defense than the Eagle Artillery would have been at Town Hall 17.

Many players have asked why this feature is only available for Town Hall 17 and up. The reason is logical: it would seem odd to have a memorial next to your Eagle Artillery if you still have the building itself on your base. After all, it’s still functional at Town Hall 16 and below, so a monument isn’t necessary yet!
