Clash of Clans January 2025 Streak Event issues addressed, duration extended for two days

In the “Streak Event” within Supercell’s popular game, “Clash of Clans,” which returned on January 13th, 2025, encountered technical problems that affected players’ progress. After acknowledging and resolving the issues, it has been confirmed that the Streak Event in “Clash of Clans” for January 2025 will be extended by an additional two days. Moreover, side events are being introduced as a form of compensation to the players.

Regarding issues with the Streak Event bugs, it seems that the initial task in the event got marked as done automatically for some players, but attacks during the second task didn’t contribute to progress for certain users. The developers recognized this problem a day after the event started on January 14th, 2025, and they prepared a solution which was set to be rolled out through an update.
It appears that certain players are experiencing an issue during the Streak Event, where their attacks aren’t contributing to the progress of the second task. Our team is working diligently to resolve this problem; we apologize for any trouble this may be causing you.

After addressing the issues, Supercell has unveiled compensation plans and announced they’ll make amends for any troubles experienced. To ensure a pleasant experience during the event, they’ve added an extra two days to the Streak Event duration. Furthermore, they’re planning to introduce two unique bonuses as well.
To make up for the difficulties experienced during the Streak Event, we’re excited to announce the 4 Times Daily Star Bonus Event will take place from Thursday, January 16, 2025, to Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Clash of Clans. Furthermore, a Resource Boost (1 Gem) will be accessible from Thursday, January 16, 2025, until Monday, January 20, 2025.
On occasions like these, it’s not uncommon to encounter minor glitches or issues in large games such as ours. Supercell, and other teams, are quick to address and rectify such problems, often providing compensation too. Fortunately, this bug happened to us, and we benefited from two additional resource-focused events because of it. Additionally, we have the advantage of time to make the most of these situations.
