Clash of Clans: How to change the Home village scenery

I’ve been playing Clash of Clans for ages, and it’s awesome how Supercell keeps things fresh! They’re constantly rolling out updates, adding new Town Hall levels, and tweaking the gameplay. It’s cool because it keeps the game interesting whether you’re a total newbie or a long-time player like me.

In addition to gameplay updates, players are now enjoying ways to customize their villages with cosmetic features like Village Scenery. If you’re curious about changing or applying new scenery, this guide will walk you through the process simply and easily.

CoC Home Village Scenery Overview

For years, my Home Village in Clash of Clans always looked the same – it was the only scenery available. But I was so excited when the Summer Update in 2020 finally added a new village scenery! It was a great change of pace after so long with just the one look.

Even though players could choose to buy the Scenery feature with in-game currency, the new system still became very popular. This was largely thanks to the innovative idea Supercell brought to the game.

Scenery lets players make their villages look nicer and improves how the game looks overall. It’s been a popular feature, but some players have had trouble figuring out how to change their village’s scenery in Clash of Clans. Luckily, it’s a simple process – keep reading to find out how!

Steps to change the Home village scenery in Clash of Clans

The process below will help you change the village scenery in Clash of Clans:

1. Purchase the Village Scenery

You can get the new village scenery from the Shop. Sometimes, it’s also included with the Gold Pass. In the Shop, you might find it as a standalone item, or it could be part of a special offer. Keep in mind that buying the scenery costs money, and it’s not always available – it appears in the Shop from time to time.

2. Change Scenery option

Next, go to your Home Village. Tap on your Town Hall, and you’ll find an option labeled Change Scenery. Tap that, and you can view the Classic scenery that’s currently equipped.

3. Select the scenery you want to set

So, if I’ve already gotten the scenery pack, I’ll have a bunch of different options to pick from, including the awesome “Classic Home Village” one! It’s great to have choices.

You can change the background to a different village scene. You can also randomly select a scene from your collection by clicking the dice icon. If you want to preview a scene before applying it, click the eye icon.

Now that Clash of Clans is officially available on PC, you can download and play it on your computer. You can customize the game’s appearance on your PC account by following the same instructions as before.
