For the Lunar New Year season, the ultimate challenge titled “Sky-High Showdown” has been added to “Clash of Clans.” As suggested by its name, this battle will feature troops flying high, making it crucial to study an opponent’s base before launching an attack. If you’re wondering how to conquer the Sky-High Showdown challenge in “Clash of Clans,” this guide provides the solution.
Introducing the Sky-High Showdown Challenge in Clash of Clans
This new challenge presents an exhibition of the latest skins for four different Heroes in our game, but unfortunately, Minion Prince hasn’t received a skin update just yet. The layout of this challenge is undeniably complex, but on a positive note, it can also be easily conquered once you know where to strategically deploy each of the four heroes.

Just like in the last “Snake It Back” challenge, you’ll earn additional resources, including 400 XP, 25 Gems, and a single Resource Potion, if you manage to achieve a 3-Star victory in this base.
How to beat the Sky-High Showdown Challenge in Clash of Clans
In the Sky High Showdown contest, it’s essential to use each hero strategically for optimal performance. Begin by placing an Ice Golem on the left side initially, then introduce the Queen. Trigger the Queen’s ability as you conjure a Magic Mirror to duplicate her and clear out that part of the base simultaneously.
Alright, I’m going to play it smart on my right flank. I’ll deploy the Barbarian King, plop down an Ice Golem for backup, then let ‘er rip with his Spiky Ball special ability. That ball bounces through defenses like a boss, clearing out any obstacles in its path.
Now, onto my bottom side, I’ll position my Warden next to the Invisibility Tower. Once that tower activates, it’ll fire off a Fireball right at the Rage Spell Tower. This distraction allows me to unleash an Earthquake Spell on those pesky Archer Towers. Boom! Game on!

As long as the Warden is removed from play, the King and Queen will persist in their advance. Now, position your Royal Champion at the upper-left corner of the Clan Castle. Once she encounters the enemy leaders, cast a Poison Spell on them to impede their progress and ensure the safety of your Royal Champion. Truth be told, this maneuver should prove effective given that the defending troops are relatively weaker in level.
However, here’s an important point to consider: Should the Royal Champion perish, try to retrieve her if possible, but don’t rush to revive her right away. Instead, wait until she reaches both the Town Hall and the Monolith. Once there, keep them frozen to prevent any further activation. If the Minion Prince makes an appearance, be sure to freeze him too.
As a devoted player, I always save my Revive Spell until our Royal Champion has been thoroughly defeated. The magnificent Phoenix will then resurrect her, and if necessary, a second Revive Spell can be employed to guarantee she overcomes the last line of defense. If any Freeze Spells are still available, they’re ideal for chilling Tesla Towers or enemy heroes, providing additional assistance. With this tactic in play, achieving a three-star triumph should be effortless.
