Clash of Clans: How to beat the Monolith Mayhem Challenge

In August 2025, the popular game Clash of Clans returns with a new seasonal event called Clash-A-Rama season, following the Ricochet Rumble Challenge. The latest challenge within this month is named Monolith Mayhem, offering another thrilling experience for players.

Introducing the Monolith Mayhem Challenge in Clash of Clans

As a dedicated gamer, I find the current challenge quite intriguing! It’s great to see the “Hero Saving” format making a comeback, allowing us to bolster our troop ranks with new heroes. The Barbarian King, however, stirs up some debate among players. But with strategic hero placement, I find that his base can be managed quite easily.

The compensation for this contest is similar to past ones: You’ll get additional resources, plus 400 Experience Points, 25 Gems, and one Resource Potion. However, it’s nothing to get too thrilled about.

In simpler terms, place the Barbarian King at the central base first, then attack the nearby Wizard Tower immediately. After that, proceed to neutralize the multi-inferno and subsequently take out the remaining Wizard Towers located on the left side of the base.

This removes the impact from the nearby explosions and drives the trio of protective Wizards away from their Clan Castle, allowing your monarch to handle them. Once you’ve vanquished the third Wizard, focus on attacking the tower at its peak, but for now, refrain from releasing any additional troops.

After the King demolishes the Clan Castle, shift your focus to the Air Sweeper situated near the Barbarian Kickers. This will allow them to attack the Scattershot effectively. Recruit the Barbarian Kickers and position the King between them and the Scattershot to act as a shield, taking damage on their behalf until they eliminate it completely.

After that, escort the King to the opposite end of the base’s bottom side. Next, you should unlock the Ice Wizards and Mecha stationed at the lower left corner. If the Battle Ram troops haven’t been activated yet, move the King there to set them off and demolish the nearby Wizard Tower.

After completing that task, shift your focus towards the Broom Witches, who are assigned to attack Wizard Towers located at the lower end of the base. You can touch the Monolith with your King, but it’s likely that the Witches will deal with any nearby Wizard Towers due to us already having the necessary troops unlocked.

Starting from this point, the King has the opportunity to purify undefended structures without engaging with the opposing Barbarian King, utilizing their power when necessary. He can also recruit any remaining troops to assist, subsequently destroying the final buildings, ensuring a secure three-star victory.
