Okay, so the Town Hall 18 update is getting really close in Clash of Clans! They just dropped a big hint with a new challenge focused on Town Hall 17. It’s part of the Wasteland Season events, and honestly, it’s a great way to see everything TH17 has to offer. Let’s check it out!
Introducing the Last Town Hall 17 Challenge in Clash of Clans
The base might seem daunting at first, but the best approach is to tackle it section by section. We have plenty of soldiers, so you can be confident we’ll succeed.

So, just like with past challenges, we’re getting some goodies! I’ll be earning extra resources, plus 400 XP, 25 Gems, and a Resource Potion. Not bad at all!
How to beat the Last Town Hall 17 Challenge in Clash of Clans
Okay, so here’s how I like to set up this attack. First, I always put my Warden in Ground Mode. Then, I position him behind the Archer Tower at the top of the base. After that, I drop a Balloon and five Healers right with him. Next, I cast an Invisibility Spell over the Multi-Archer Tower and Air Defense, and immediately activate my Warden’s ability. It’s a pretty solid opening!
Now, position two Earthquake Spells between the Monolith, Multi-Archer Tower, and Scattershot. Then, deploy your remaining Balloons near the Hero Hall, on the side closest to the Air Defense, to draw out the Warden and reveal any traps. After that’s done, move on to the lower part of the base.

Okay, so as a strategy, I’m choosing my Invisibility Spells and Rocket Balloons first. I’m going to put one Invisibility Spell right on top of my Multi-Archer Tower to protect it, and another one strategically placed between the Bomb Tower and the Helper Hut. Then, I’m sending in five Rocket Balloons close to the Helper Hut – they’re perfect for taking out that X-Bow!
After clearing the area, position your Flinger Siege Machine between the Spell Tower and Helper Hut on the left. Then, place a Golem and Archer Queen close to the Wizard Tower, and put your Healers to the upper left of the Queen. Use a Wall Breaker between the Queen and Healers to create an opening in that section.
Once the Air Defense is destroyed, use any remaining Rocket Balloons to attack the Wizard Tower. Cast a Poison Spell on the enemy King and another on the troops inside the Clan Castle. If the Royal Champion targets your Queen, use a Freeze Spell to protect her.
After defeating the King and Ice Golems, bring your Queen back using the Recall Spell, and be sure to include the Healers with her. Place a Valkyrie close to the Army Camp, then send an Ice Golem ahead of the Ricochet Cannon, followed by your King, Queen, and a Wall Breaker.
Put your Royal Champion directly in front of the Wizard Tower on the lower side of the map, and use her special ability right away. Then, switch your attention back to your King. When he gets to the X-Bow, activate his ability.
As your Archer Queen advances towards the enemy defenses, cast another Earthquake Spell in the center of the base. Make sure to use her ability at the right moment. Also, send in two Head Hunters to quickly eliminate the defending Minion Prince, and use freezes on any nearby buildings if needed.
Lastly, position your Minions along the bottom of the base to destroy any remaining structures. It sounds simple, but you’ll need to deploy your troops quickly to make progress.
