The popular game Clash of Clans will be making its return this coming June 2025 as part of the ominously titled Dark Days season. From what we can gather from the events calendar, it looks like there are many exciting things lined up for us! As per the schedule, the second challenge in Clash of Clans, called the Crowning Glory Challenge, has already begun.

Starting off the monthly celebrations with this base, there are numerous tactics you could employ to earn a three-star rating here. Let me walk you through the most straightforward approach to achieve a three-star victory and conquer the Crowning Glory Challenge in Clash of Clans.

Introducing the Crowning Glory Challenge in Clash of Clans

At first glance, it may seem that the foundation is ordinary, with a disorganized layout that appears easily conquerable. However, there’s a surprising twist. Your forces are limited to just one unit: the Archer Queen. This unique troop will be instrumental in defeating this base.

In a manner similar to past contests, you’ll be given additional resources, plus 400 XP, 25 Gems, and one Resource Potion as rewards. It appears that the team is sticking with their current strategy, so there’s no indication of any changes in the near future regarding this.

How to beat the Crowning Glory Challenge in Clash of Clans

Initially, we notice two strategic openings on the right and left flanks of the enemy base, which we plan to leverage. Begin by deploying your Barbarian King into the opening on the right, swiftly following up with activating his ability that allows him to swiftly eliminate defenses. Then, cast three Earthquake spells at the defenses on the right side to shatter walls.

First, position two more earthquake spells close to the center of the map, right below the Clan Castle and the Air Sweeper, to prepare for using your Fireball ability later on. Once the King demolishes the Dark Elixir Storage, quickly use your Recall spell to bring back your troops before they accidentally activate the defending Ice Golems.

Moving forward, shift towards the left and position two ‘Super Minions’ concealed behind the blue wall next to the Elixir Storage for a secure attack on it. At the base, station a regular Dragon under each ‘Ricochet Cannon’, then deploy three Balloons intermittently between the storages.

Cast your “Overgrowth Charm” on the Air Sweeper that hovers above the town hall, followed by deploying an Ice Hound, a “Thundering Dragon”, and a “Rage Potion” near the Tesla to aid in breaking through their defenses. Be sure to monitor the gold depository and dispatch your Archer Queen towards it, positioning her shots to eliminate as many air fortifications as feasible.

Once the exterior Tesla is destroyed, deploy three balloons swiftly, followed by the arrival of the “Grand Warden”. This should occur right after the Queen has eliminated the Tesla. Immediately use his “Fireball” power on the Air Defense. Subsequently, unleash your Ice Hound and King to maintain the offensive momentum.

To finish off the battle, position your Clan Castle troops at the highest point of the enemy base, including two Dragon Riders and the Minion Prince. Once the Minion Prince reaches the Town Hall, activate his Freeze ability to momentarily stop their defenses. This tactic should effortlessly clear the remaining base and earn you a three-star victory.
