Clash of Clans February update adds Gold Pass rework, Dragon Duke event, and Town Hall 18 upgrades

I remember when Town Hall 9 in Clash of Clans felt like the ultimate goal – it was a huge accomplishment and made your village feel finished. Now, years later, we’re already at Town Hall 18, which is still pretty amazing! The newest update in February keeps that high-level progression going with changes to the Gold Pass, new upgrades, a new pet, and a new Hero who’s still trying to break free.

Everyone is currently talking about the Dragon Duke. You won’t be able to play as him right away, though. Instead, players need to complete a dungeon-like challenge between February 24th and March 1st to unlock him.

The Gold Pass has been completely redesigned to be more user-friendly. It now has a clearer layout, making rewards easier to follow, and introduces Choice Nodes. These let you customize your progress to best fit your village, instead of being stuck with a single, predetermined path.

The Season Bank has been replaced with the Hoggy Bank, which begins with a full amount and distributes it at the season’s end. Additionally, a new helper called the Prospector will automatically process ores daily if you’ve reached Town Hall 10 or above.

Town Hall 18 players will find a lot of new content to explore. There have been significant improvements to defenses, troops, and spells. Plus, a new flying pet called Greedy Raven has been added – it specifically focuses on attacking your opponent’s resource buildings, making it easier to steal their loot.

We’ve improved Ranked Mode to make matches feel fairer and more reliable, fixing some unusual situations that could create frustrating gameplay.
