As of now, we’ve already shared Part 1 of the details. Let me delve deeper and explain what amazing additions we can expect with this update.

Clash of Clans February 2025 update: All new features and additions explained

As a gamer, I’m privileged to get an early look at the upcoming February changes! It appears that the update will bring some exciting advancements, including level boosts for my troops, spells, and structures. Furthermore, it seems they’re introducing a fresh defense mechanism and a distinctive siege weapon that I can’t wait to try out!

New Defense: Multi-Gear Tower

The Combined Gear Structure is a recently integrated defensive unit that amalgamates the Archer Tower with Geared-Up Archer and Cannon into one adaptable edifice. Different from earlier merged defenses like the Ricochet Cannons or Multi-Archer Towers, this novel defense becomes accessible only after advancing in the Builder Base.

To assemble the Multi-Gear Tower, you need to be at Town Hall level 17 and combine a Geared-Up Cannon and a Geared-Up Archer Tower, both maxed out at level 21. Once constructed, this versatile tower boasts two distinct attack modes:

1. Archer Tower (Long Range) Mode: This mode offers a longer range of 12 tiles and a moderate rate of fire, making it ideal for taking down enemies from afar.

2. Cannon (Fast Attack) Mode: In this mode, the tower fires rapidly with burst damage over a shorter 8-tile range. This makes it particularly effective in close quarters combat.

In comparison, Archer Tower Mode offers a wider range of protection, but Cannon Mode performs exceptionally well against units with high health points. Both modes are capable of targeting both ground and airborne troops. Unlike other defensive structures, the Multi-Gear Tower does not have the ability to be Supercharged.

New Siege Machine: Troop Launcher

In a similar vein, you might consider this as akin to a “Super Card” in “Clash Royale,” as it involves a Barbarian deploying a Mortar-like structure. The “Troop Launcher” is a novel, stationary Siege Machine that made its debut at Town Hall 16 and can be accessed by upgrading the Workshop to Level 8. Unlike other siege units, the Troop Launcher remains stationary but makes up for it with an unlimited range, enabling it to provide cover for allies from a secure vantage point.

I previously mentioned that it releases barrel-shaped structures, each containing a single troop from the Clan Castle, along with one Giant, and a combination of Barbarians, Archers, and Wall Breakers. The number of troops within these barrels increases as its level does. It operates in much the same way as the Siege Barracks, slowly losing health until it’s destroyed. If it gets destroyed before all the barrels are released, any remaining ones will not be dispatched.

New Levels

Multiple units, abilities, and structures are receiving level improvements to boost their strength. Here’s a list of the enhancements introduced in the most recent update:
