Well Played Games has released a soft launch of its new dark fantasy collectible card game, Clans of London, for Android and iOS. The game is currently available in countries including the US, Brazil, and Indonesia. Clans of London is based on the popular Vampire: The Masquerade universe.

Dive into the World of Darkness and experience fast-paced card battles

A new card game based on the popular tabletop role-playing game, Vampire: The Masquerade (created by Mark Rein-Hagen), is coming soon! Set in the World of Darkness, the game takes place in modern London and features fast-paced PvP battles. Duels last just 5 minutes and consist of 7 turns.

I’ve only played the battle royale game, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, with friends, and really enjoyed it. That experience alone makes me excited about this new version, especially since it includes hundreds of new characters, and lets you choose from familiar groups like the Tremere, each offering different abilities and ways to play.

Build 15-card decks, collect limited variant cards, and master the King of the Hill mechanism

I appreciate getting a free starter deck to begin with, and it’s great that you can build your own 15-card decks by combining vampires and mortals without needing extra cards. However, I personally enjoy collecting and improving the special, limited edition cards more, as each one introduces a unique vampire or mortal with special abilities.

The game is looking really good so far! The “King of the Hill” feature is a standout – you earn extra points and gain an edge by capturing and holding the important “Prince of London” location while fending off other players. Add in beautiful, realistic card designs, different clans to choose from, and quick-paced battles, and it’s definitely worth checking out.
