Claire Danes reveals the ‘shame’ she felt getting pregnant with third child at age 44

I was so surprised to hear Claire Danes talk about her third pregnancy! She called it an ‘oopsy daisy’ – I just love her honesty. Apparently, it wasn’t exactly planned, and she’s been sharing how she processed all the complicated emotions that came with it over the last two years. It’s so relatable and refreshing to hear a celebrity be so open about something like that.

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? She actually said it! She was forty-four when all that happened, forty-four! It just blows my mind, even though she’s only forty-six now. I’ve been following her forever, and hearing her talk about it on SmartLess just… wow. It feels so real, you know?

‘I didn’t think it was possible! I really didn’t. So, no. I was terrified but all was okay.’

Host Jason Bateman offered his congratulations to Claire Danes and her husband, Hugh Dancy, calling their situation unusual and wonderful. He enthusiastically praised them, saying, ‘That’s fantastic news for both of you!’

You know, it really took me by surprise. I honestly didn’t see it coming at all, and it was just…strange. I suddenly felt this odd sense of embarrassment, almost like I’d done something silly, which was a really unexpected feeling.

I did something I knew was wrong, and it went further than I intended. It felt strange, like I’d crossed a boundary I hadn’t fully realized existed.

Natalie Portman and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, haven’t shared the name of their two-year-old daughter. They are also parents to seven-year-old Rowan and Cyrus, who will be thirteen on December 17th.

Bateman replied: ‘You would have been pi**ed off. You definitely would have been pi**ed off.’

‘I would have been delighted,’ Danes corrected.

‘But I am more delighted that I [have a girl]. She’s pretty cool and she loves a tutu.’

The native New Yorker added: ‘But it’s a trip! I mean, I have a teenager and a toddler.’

The couple, married for 16 years, looked deeply in love as they posed for photos together at the premiere of her Netflix show, The Beast In Me, held on November 5th at The Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.

Debra Danese and Hugh Dancy first connected while working on the 2006 film Evening, where they played a couple in love.

This week, actress Danes met with Winnie Holzman, the creator of ‘My So-Called Life,’ at the ‘Wicked’ premiere in New York City. They’re now collaborating on a new HBO series called ‘The Applebaum Curse,’ where Winnie will be the showrunner and Danes will star and produce.

In a February interview with Variety, Holzman said he’s exploring a project with Claire Danes. While not a complete restart of a previous show, he believes reuniting with Danes would feel like a fresh take on something familiar.

Things are completely changing now, but we’re optimistic about working together again. I’m actually writing it as we speak, and ideally it will end up on HBO, though we’ll have to wait and see. I’m keeping my fingers crossed! You can never predict the future, but Claire is eager to collaborate with me on this, which I’m really excited about.
