Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Late-April Release Date Confirmed With New Gameplay

The gaming studio Sandfall Interactive has disclosed that the title “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” is set to debut in April. This unveiling comes complete with updated information and a brand-new gameplay trailer to coincide with the release date announcement.

In the exciting turn-based RPG journey known as “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33“, you’ll make allies with a vibrant group of characters. One such ally is ‘Monoco the Gestral’, who possesses an intriguing ability to morph into any foe your party meets, then employ their skills against them.

It appears that Esquie is distinctively unique in a special manner, and will join you on your adventure, assisting you in navigating through the world as you discover new places. As you advance, you’ll uncover additional skills for Esquie, allowing you to mount it and traverse the map, swimming and flying across the expansive overworld of Expedition 33.

On your mission to defeat the Paintress, you’ll journey through diverse, multi-tiered settings such as the Ancient Sanctuary and Gestral Village. These areas will offer tough, optional battles, side missions, and hidden gems to uncover. Additionally, you’ll encounter a dynamic form of combat in real-time, blending classic RPG mechanics with immediate offensive and defensive abilities.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33″ will make its debut on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on April 24th, with immediate access through Game Pass on launch day. Pre-orders are now open for a Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes an array of additional DLC content.
