Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is out in January
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for narrative-driven games and a soft spot for tabletop RPGs, the announcement of Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector has me positively gleaming! Having immersed myself in the captivating world of the original Citizen Sleeper last year, I eagerly await the opportunity to continue my journey as an escaped android in a human and heartfelt sci-fi universe.
Developer Age of Wonders Studio has revealed that “Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector” will be released on 31st January, 2025.
The upcoming game is indeed a sequel to the critically acclaimed Citizen Sleeper from 2022, which is a role-playing game set within a space station. It offers an immersive blend of tabletop gaming elements and narrative-driven exploration – expect plenty of text to immerse yourself in and stunning visuals to appreciate.
The upcoming game appears set to maintain its current approach, with an added focus on assembling a vessel and a team, while undertaking various tasks. Quite fascinating indeed!
There is a new trailer for the game, announcing its release date, too. The description reads:
As a rogue android on the run in a deeply emotional sci-fi universe, I’ve got a busted chassis, a bounty hanging over my head, and no recollection of my past. My goal? Secure a ship, assemble a crew, and tackle various jobs while navigating the treacherous Starward Belt.
As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that the much-anticipated sequel to Citizen Sleeper, titled “Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector,” is set to launch on January 31st, 2025! This interstellar adventure will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Can’t wait to continue my journey in this captivating universe!
