Cindy Bruna has announced her engagement to Serge Ibaka.
The 31-year-old French model and the 36-year-old basketball player are engaged! They shared the happy news with a heartwarming video of the proposal on Instagram.
Serge, age 36, proposed to Cindy at church. He knelt down and gave her a ring, then stood up and hugged her.
Cindy captioned the video: ‘God works in mysterious ways.
Last year was a time of relying on faith rather than what I could see. Even though I felt vulnerable and humbled, God proved His constant faithfulness to me.
I remember the night we first met at church last year. As I drove home, I actually said to myself, ‘If this turns into something real, I’ll definitely share our story with others someday.’
Here we are, the trial has started. There’s a lot more to reveal about what happened, but I want to get married before I share it all. – Mr. B.
The couple were congratulated by fellow models Iman Hammam, Alessandra Ambrosio and Jourdan Dunn.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2022, following their appearance together at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
During his team’s celebration in June 2024, Serge mentioned that Munich would be a wonderful place to raise a family, suggesting he and Cindy were planning to have children.
This couple generally prefers to keep their relationship private, though they have made occasional appearances at major fashion events and on red carpets.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m always inspired by incredible stories, and Serge Ibaka’s is definitely one of them. He’s a phenomenal basketball player originally hailing from the Republic of the Congo, and I was so thrilled to watch him and the Toronto Raptors win the NBA championship back in 2019 – a truly remarkable achievement!
He now plays in Europe with FC Bayern Munich basketball.
Before she started dating Serge, she was reportedly in a relationship with French soccer player Morgan Biancone around 2015.
She was also rumoured to have been on dates with Michael B. Jordan in 2019.
Meanwhile, Serge most prominently dated singer Keri Hilson between 2012 and 2016.
