As a devoted Peaky Blinders fan and someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the intricate world of the Shelby family, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Stephanie Collie, the brilliant mind behind the iconic costumes that have become synonymous with this masterpiece.

Cillian Murphy has been at the forefront of expressing condolences following the passing of Stephanie Collie, the talented costume designer for “Peaky Blinders,” who was 60 years old.

Last month, I learned that the game’s creator lost his fight against cancer. Alongside many others, I expressed my condolences through a heartfelt message.

He remarked, as reported by the Evening Standard, that Stephanie was an exceptionally gifted individual. She was the one who created the distinctive appearance and outline of the Peaky Blinders, a style that has gained international recognition. Her absence will be felt by many. Rest in peace.

The verified Peaky Blinders account, too, posted a message that was subsequently re-shared by Murphy, expressing their deep sorrow upon hearing about the demise of costume designer Stephanie Collie.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but appreciate the remarkable impact Stephanie had on our initial game series, crafting the unforgettable visual style that resonated globally as the iconic Peaky Blinders look. In these moments, my heart goes out to her dear family during this tough time.

Last month, our dear Collie took her final breath in a hospice located in London. Six months earlier, she had received a heartbreaking diagnosis: terminal cancer. Sadly, her husband, Hubert Taczanowski, a talented cinematographer, had already passed away this year at the age of 63.

Apart from “Peaky Blinders”, Collie also worked on movies like “Layer Cake”, “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels”, “London Has Fallen”, “The Hitman’s Bodyguard”, and its sequel “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”.

Ryan Reynolds, who collaborated with Stephanie on the last two films, likewise paid tribute, penning: “She was not just a skilled and gifted designer, but the world has also been deprived of two rare treasures: her sharp wit and biting humor. My sympathies to her family, associates, and everyone who knew her. May you find peace, Stephanie.
