They’re already starting to promote it, and they even had a special screening of Sinners or One Battle After Another in 70mm IMAX to get people hyped. Then they’ll be showing it in regular IMAX theaters too. Entertainment Weekly just released some exclusive photos, and I got my first look at Robert Pattinson – he’s playing a really important character! It’s going to be released in theaters next summer, and I can’t wait!

Initial images reveal Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of Antinous. The actor, known for his role in Twilight, plays a significant villain in Homer’s The Odyssey – specifically, one of the suitors vying for the hand of Odysseus’s wife, Penelope.

The new historical film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, a character who contrasts sharply with Robert Pattinson’s Antinous. All three actors – Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Pattinson – have worked with director Christopher Nolan multiple times. Damon appeared in Nolan’s films Interstellar (2014) and Oppenheimer (2023), Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Interstellar, and Pattinson in Tenet (2020).
