Christopher Nolan’s excellent Batman trilogy is on TV this weekend for the perfect Bank Holiday watch
Over the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend, a series of Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies, collectively called the Dark Knight Trilogy, will be aired on television.
For the following three nights starting at 9 PM, ITV2 will be inviting viewers to Gotham City. Tonight’s feature is “Batman Begins”, tomorrow night we have “The Dark Knight”, and the trilogy concludes with “The Dark Knight Rises” on Monday evening.
After the broadcast, the movies will be accessible for free streaming on ITVX. Alternatively, if you prefer an ad-free experience, you can opt for ITVX Premium at just £5.99 per month or £59.99 annually.

If you’ve got an Amazon Prime Video subscription, you’ll find that the movies have been available for quite some time now.
If you’re craving some additional content related to Batman, you might find it interesting to check out ITVX, as they offer all three seasons of the prequel series named “Pennyworth”.
In its third season, the series underwent a name change to “Pennyworth: The Rise of Batman’s Butler“, as creator Bruno Heller revealed that audiences might not have recognized the connection between the show and Batman.
Excitingly, I’ve just learned from Matt Reeves himself that The Batman: Part 2 is set to roll the cameras this year! Previous hurdles have shifted the initial release date to 2027, but now it’s full steam ahead!
The director mentioned that they are yet to complete the script as there has been a lot happening around them.
Next year, our focus will be on bringing the movie to life in production. We’re genuinely thrilled about it! And I can confidently say that we plan to start shooting this very year.
Currently, The Dark Knight Trilogy can be streamed on Prime Video. Over the coming days, it will also be broadcast on ITV2.
