Christine McGuinness reveals she’s dating someone ‘new and exciting’ on Loose Women following split from husband Paddy – but has strict ‘terms and conditions’ for relationship

In June 2011, a 36-year-old model and a 50-year-old presenter tied the knot. They later had children: Leo and Penelope, who are now 10 years old, and Felicity, who is seven. However, they parted ways in 2022.
Over the past month, I’ve been following the updates on my favorite couple closely. Despite rumors of a split, they managed to settle their divorce in a harmonious manner, steering clear of a drawn-out legal tussle, and continuing to share the same roof with their beloved kids.
On Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women, Christine cheerfully disclosed that she had started a fresh relationship, though she remained discreet about the specifics. She did, however, share her top guideline for this new romance.
She declared: ‘I am dating! With terms and conditions. But the number one rule – I’m not doing the cooking.’
In the year 2021, Christine was identified as having autism and faces challenges related to certain aspects of food due to sensory issues. However, prior to their date, she discussed her specific preferences with her new companion.
She said: ‘I am dating, it’s all brand new, but we spoke a lot before our first date and I explained I don’t want to go to a restaurant or eat out.’
With a burst of laughter, she summarized: “It’s fresh, it’s thrilling, it’s pleasant – that’s about it!”
She confidently proclaimed that she delighted in challenging herself beyond her usual bounds when it came to dating and participating in Celebrity MasterChef, stating: “I wish for my children to witness me working, being content, and venturing into the unknown. And I desire this for myself as well.”
It comes just a month after Christine insisted she was ‘happily single’, but that she was hopeful she would find love once again.
Last month, I had the privilege of chatting with TopMob, and she opened up about her feelings towards relationships. She passionately expressed that having a relationship is an incredible, enchanting experience that can truly add magic to one’s life. However, she made it clear that she’s taking her time and has no immediate plans to walk down the aisle again.
However, she added that she worried she was too busy with her three children and career to sustain a new romance.
Currently, I’m extremely joyful, as I’ve never dated someone without first being friends, even during my teenage years. Our friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.
In our case, I had already known my former spouse prior to us entering into a romantic relationship together.
However, for the very first time, I find myself entirely independent, with precious little time to spare for myself, as the clock ticks rapidly away.
“Currently, I might not have all that’s needed for a relationship, but please understand this doesn’t mean I’m unwilling or uninterested.”
She added: ‘I acknowledge that I am worthy of affection, and cherish the feeling of love itself. To share intimate moments, laugh, and savor the companionship of another grown-up is a wondrous, enchanting aspect of life, especially when it’s present.’
She mentioned: ‘I believe love is a gift, and it’s essential to acknowledge that gift. However, I don’t feel I can offer enough for a relationship due to my busy schedule with my three kids, as I spend most of my time at home with them, and when I’m not, I’m either at work or attending charity events.’
Even though she was open to finding love, the celebrity made it clear that she has no intention of getting married again, as she has already experienced both a wedding ceremony and a matrimonial union.
She said: ‘I think [getting married again] is something I would definitely rule out. I’ve done that, I had the big white wedding, and I was married for 15 years.
I have no immediate plans for remarriage. Marrying once was enough for me, and I’ve already accomplished that. If love enters my life again, I will cherish it dearly; I don’t feel the need for anything else beyond that.
Apart from Christine, she too disclosed information about her unconventional cohabitation with her former partner, Paddy. She clarified that although they reside under the same roof, this setup benefits their children effectively. However, she expressed doubts about the longevity of this arrangement.
She expressed her delight about what they accomplished, mentioning that she’s unsure how long it will continue. During this period, she prefers not to alter the situation, avoiding moving her children to different residences, dislikes the idea of having to drop them off at one parent for a few days and then the other, and wants to maintain their established routine.
Currently, Patrick’s schedule is quite hectic as he’s juggling multiple commitments. He’s simultaneously working on three separate TV series and has plans for a tour this year, making him extremely occupied.
He spends about two days each month at home, which suits us perfectly because the children are thrilled whenever he returns, and his return gives Mom the opportunity to go out.
The news that she is dating emerged following the stir caused by a cozy footsie photo, hinting at a new relationship, while they were vacationing together.
Last week, the news broke out that Christine had been vacationing with musician Roxxxan, who is known for her tomboyish persona. This was confirmed when they were spotted in a warm hug before departing from Ibiza.
A bystander shared with The Sun that the two individuals seemed quite at ease together and reluctant to leave. They exchanged a warm goodbye, embracing and hugging as they waited to check their bags.
Additionally, Christine posted a picture of herself playfully touching feet with an enigmatic individual who has tattoos, while Roxxxan subsequently uploaded a selfie on her Instagram featuring a reflection that shows her legs bearing identical tattoo designs.
Adding fuel to the fire, Christine also shared a stunning bikini snap in the exact same mirror.
They’re connected on Instagram, sharing updates about their vacation online, yet the exact details about their current relationship status remain unclear.
Previously, there were rumors about Christine being romantically involved with singer Chelcee Grimes following their public display of affection, captured in photos, the previous year.
Since then, it appears they’ve stopped following each other on social media. Chelcee’s latest remarks seem to suggest there might be some tension between them, hinting towards a possible disagreement or dispute.
The model recently told The Mirror: ‘I love being an LGBTQI ally. Nobody judges anybody. The LGBTQI community are conformable within themselves. There’s no jealousy. I wish the whole world was a little bit more like that.’
