Christine McGuinness subtly commented on her former spouse, Paddy, while discussing her personal identity regarding sexuality.
The 37-year-old model has been included in the latest cast for the upcoming season of E4’s Celebs Go Dating, following her separation from a Top Gear presenter in 2022.
As a dedicated follower, I, Christine – a mother of three with Paddy (age 51) – am embracing my new approach to dating by embodying the essence of a ‘free spirit’. I find immense joy in spending quality time with wonderful women.
She expressed to The Sun that she is currently cherishing her moments spent with women. She finds that a more profound bond can be formed with a woman compared to others.
‘I like someone who knows what they want and isn’t playing games.’
Christine prefers not to define her sexuality with a specific label, yet Paddy was aware of this aspect during their relationship.

She continued: ‘My ex-husband knew about it from when we first met and was fine with it.’
For the last three years, the television personality openly acknowledged her romantic engagements with women, such as DJ Roxxxan and Chelcee Grimes.
Following Christine’s discussion about the current state of her relationship with ex-husband Paddy, post their separation.
In an interview with Amy Hart’s podcast, Christine shared her experience of co-parenting with her ex-husband, Paddy, saying, “It’s been three years since our separation, but we maintain a great relationship.
Even though we continue to reside under the same roof, it’s undeniable that I crave some grown-up interaction. It’s not feasible for me to spend my entire day, every day, in the company of children alone.
As much as I appreciate my work-related getaways, it’s unfortunate that I don’t have the luxury of such breaks when I’m not working, simply to socialize with other adults.
Since I hadn’t tried it before, I seized the chance and figured, why not give it a shot? As I know myself well, I believe I’ll handle it just fine.
‘I’ll manage it and it was just a step too far.’

Feeling swamped, I chose to listen closely to my inner voice, and I am incredibly pleased with myself for identifying those feelings.
After completing two weeks out of a planned ten-week filming schedule, I returned home to my kids. Despite the fact that I felt incredibly proud of myself, I made a choice that was right for me.
She stated: “If something seems uncomfortable or wrong for you, in terms of your body, mind, or feelings, it is alright to depart.
I repeat this advice frequently to my kids, as it’s particularly helpful for those with autism – they can find comfort in sticking to routines and doing activities that they enjoy, rather than following others’ expectations.
It’s crucial to understand that you always have the freedom to depart from a party, a job, an event, or even a relationship whenever you feel it’s necessary.
