Christine McGuinness Makes History as First Female Winner of Celebrity Hunted
Christine McGuinness became the first woman to win Celebrity Hunted, clinching victory during the finale broadcasted on Sunday evening.
36-year-old woman, who parted ways with her former husband Paddy a year ago, managed to elude her pursuers and emerged victorious following a period in hiding alongside Duncan James from the band Blue.
In an interview with The Mirror, she admitted that participating in the Channel 4 series had a profound impact on her life and instilled within her a renewed sense of self-confidence.
She shared with the outlet: “What stood out most to me was discovering my capabilities exceed what I initially believed they could.
When I’m around someone who is compassionate and supportive, I find that my capabilities exceed what I believe they are.
‘I doubt myself, I preempt a lot, and I probably put myself down more than I should.’

Later, she admitted that she tends to be overly critical of herself but has realized her abilities exceed what she thought they were.
In series six of Celebrity Hunted, a group of twelve famous individuals embarked on a challenge where they had to secretly travel through the United Kingdom while a skilled team of pursuers, known as Hunters, attempted to locate them.
For a fortnight, they were on the run, as the Hunters tirelessly mobilized all their assets to apprehend them.
The Hunters constituted an elite squad comprising both police officers and military personnel, equipped with an array of state-of-the-art resources such as CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras, helicopters, drones, sniffer dogs, mass media campaigns, and cutting-edge cyber forensic technology.
Amongst myself, I had the pleasure of being joined by dance sensations Giovanni Pernice and Kai Widdrington from Strictly Come Dancing. Also in attendance were the dynamic duo, Denise Welsh and her husband, Lincoln Townley, hailing from Loose Women.
On the show appeared podcast hosts David Whitely and Zeze Millz, soap actors Danielle Harold and Kimberly Hart-Simpson, as well as news anchors Simon McCoy and Lucrezia Millarini.
Christine then confessed to TopMob that she doesn’t want to get into anything ‘too serious’.
She revealed that she wants to stay single through summer and have some fun.

The stunning woman shared with TopMob: “I’m not involved in anything serious at the moment. I plan to remain unattached throughout this summer for sure, and my main focus currently is my kids, personal growth, and career advancement.
I’m more inclined towards lighthearted activities rather than deep commitments. What I desire is enjoyment that maintains a sense of decorum, while ensuring proper attention to my kids, personal well-being, and career.
In the year 2021, Christine parted ways with her long-time husband, Paddy McGuinness, who was previously known for hosting Take Me Out, following more than ten years of matrimony.
This past holiday season, I joyfully celebrated Christmas with my family, prioritizing our children – the delightful duo, Penelope and Leo, both 11, and our charming eight-year-old, Felicity.
