Christina Wolfe isn’t leaving FBI: International despite The Ark return
As a fan with a memory that spans across decades of TV viewing, I must say, the recent appearance of Christina Wolfe in FBI: International was a delightful surprise! It took me back to the days of The Ark, where she played the character Cat so brilliantly.
As a fan of both “The Ark” and “FBI: International”, you might have noticed a familiar face gracing your screen in the latest episode. Indeed, Christina Wolfe made a comeback to the series. Rest assured, her reappearance doesn’t signal any trouble for Agent Amanda Tate on “FBI: International”.
Caution: There are spoilers for The Ark Season 2 up to Episode 4 in this post.
When actress Miss Wolfe joined the cast of FBI: International in Season 3 as Amanda Tate, it was evident that her character would face some trouble in The Ark. This is because Miss Wolfe was brought on as a regular character in a crime drama, which typically means she’s a mainstay in the series. It’s quite unusual to be a series regular on two shows at once, especially when one is broadcast and the other is standard cable.
In the opening episode of Season 2 of The Ark, it wasn’t long before it became clear that Cat had died, effectively ending her character on the show. Is that correct?
It was assumed she wouldn’t show up until later, but she unexpectedly appeared in “The Ark” Season 2, Episode 4 instead. In place of Brice who mysteriously vanished, a different Cat emerged.
Amanda Tate is still in FBI: International Season 4
It appears Wolf remains with the crime drama, as the only cast adjustment so far is Jesse Lee Soffer joining the show, filling the role vacated by Luke Kleintank following his departure at the close of Season 3.
To clarify, the fourth episode of Season 2 in the series The Ark definitively indicates that Wolfe will not reappear on the show. Her character’s death has not been reversed or erased in any manner.
In this specific episode, the cat belonged to an alternate reality, and she yearned to return there. Her desire was to reunite with her beloved William Trust once more and carry on the tasks she had been engaged in. Moreover, the Ark-1 crew that we’ve grown fond of were eager for Brice’s safe return as well.
Towards the close of the series, everything fell into place. All of a sudden, Cat reappeared in her own dimension, while Brice found himself back in his. Regrettably, the cat from our familiar universe remains deceased, and it seems unlikely she’ll revisit us anytime soon.
It’s possible that the shooting schedule coincided nicely for Wolfe to play her role again in this particular episode. Yet, it should be noted that she is currently working on FBI: International.
