As a seasoned observer of celebrity lives, I find myself deeply saddened by the public and tumultuous split between Christina Hall (née Anstead) and Josh Hall. Having followed their journey together on HGTV and beyond, it’s disheartening to witness such a bitter end to what once appeared to be a loving partnership.

Recently, during a night out in Nashville, Christina Hall’s former partners, Josh Hall and his cousin Nate Thompson, delivered a subtle statement towards her, which occurred amidst Josh’s contentious divorce proceedings with her.

The television host, aged 41, who recently adopted a new surname after separating, filed for divorce from Josh this past July, marking an end to their nearly three-year-long marriage.

Previously, in the year 2016, shortly following her separation from her first husband Tarek El Moussa, Christina had a short-lived relationship with the ex-NHL player Thompson, who was 40 years old at that time.

The snap showed Josh and Nate posing arm-in-arm in a crowded bar with Nate writing: ‘@unbrokenjosh Cousin time. Family over everything.’

According to a source who spoke to ET following Nate and Christina’s separation, there was nothing sensational about their breakup. From the outset, things were informal between them, and technically, they weren’t a recognized couple at all.

As a lifestyle guide, I’d put it this way: “Despite our schedules not aligning perfectly, we’ve managed to maintain a strong friendship devoid of any animosity or hard feelings.

Following Christina’s statement, it appears that Josh is asking for a high amount of $65,000 per month as part of their ongoing divorce settlement discussions regarding spousal support.

On Thursday, October 10th, Christina submitted court papers at the Superior Court of California in Orange County, signifying her intentions to proceed with the sale of the $4.5M Tennessee mansion that was once jointly owned with Josh.

According to documents acquired by Us Weekly on Tuesday, the estranged spouse made a sincere proposal for a settlement, requesting $65,000 per month as alimony from [Christina], based on their two-year and nine-month long marriage.

However, Christina’s attorney, Matthew S. DeArmey, labeled the request as ‘hardly good faith.’

In a statement made by her legal representative, it was clarified that the term “Good Faith” settlement offers, often used in court, may not always be genuine.

Additionally, DeArmey stated, “Josh Hall is asking for $65,000 in monthly spousal support from [Christina]. This is their marriage lasted only 2 years and 9 months, which seems excessive given that he can support himself financially.

In the documents, Christina’s legal team also noted her ex’s recent purchase of a luxury vehicle.

‘[Josh recently covered a sum exceeding $70,000 to settle the lease on Christina’s personal Bentley. Consequently, he is financially independent and doesn’t require alimony from her.]’

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share a fascinating detail: My legal representatives assert that the proposed settlement, which landed on my table, coincided precisely with my court submission aimed at hindering Christina from offloading her stunning $4.5M abode in Tennessee.

Additionally, Josh submitted documents a week ago, specifically on Thursday, asking the court to issue an order stopping Christina from selling the mansion.

In early March, the television celebrity announced her intention to sell a house she once shared with her former spouse, Josh, and posted about it being an exciting step on Instagram.

I can’t help but echo Christina’s sentiments when she pointed out that Josh allegedly took something from her. In a poignant manner, she penned, ‘Do you recall the time when you swore that you wouldn’t pilfer from me or our kids, and that you’d be content in a van with your beloved pet?’

It seems the plans have shifted. It’s all about seizing opportunities, with thoughts of your wealth dominating mine, and vice versa. Farewell, peace out ✌️.

On September 25, according to Us Weekly, Josh allegedly proposed a worldwide settlement to Christina, encompassing details concerning their Tennessee home. However, she reportedly turned down this proposal.

On Tuesday, a representative for Josh stated to the media that Christina’s allegations contain numerous untrue statements, and also clarified that Josh never asked for $65,000 in financial assistance, emphasizing that this claim is not true.

According to Christina’s personal records, she claimed that the Nashville mansion was primarily an investment property, which Josh was allowed to visit and utilize when it wasn’t being rented out by someone else.

On the contrary, Josh’s representative strongly refuted her assertions, saying, “The Nashville property was not a rental property.

It emerged on Tuesday, as shared in a press statement about her program “Christina In The Country,” that she has resumed using her birth surname, Haack, following the filing of her divorce papers approximately three months prior.

The star famous for Flip or Flop, a reality TV show, went through the same action when she separated from her co-star and British TV personality, Ant Anstead.

Christina has undergone multiple name changes over the last ten years, switching from Haack to El Moussa, then Anstead, back to Haack, and now Hall – only to revert back to Haack once more.

She’s had three marriages: her first husband was Tarek El Moussa, followed by Ant Anstead, and then she tied the knot with Josh Hall.

She has yet to change her last name back to Haack on her Instagram profile.

Apart from being Christina, she is a mother to three children as well. Her eldest child, Taylor (age 13), along with her eight-year-old son, Braydon, are from her first marriage with El Moussa. The youngest one, Hudson (aged four), she shares with Ant Anstead.

Last week Josh fired back after she claimed he stole from her amid their split.

The reality TV star’s spokesperson reached out to DailyMail.com with a statement.

The opening line of the note reads, ‘Josh consistently expressed his desire to manage the divorce maturely – through legal channels rather than on social media or gossip columns.’

Again and again, Christina has maintained a different stance, often causing public scenes, while Josh has remained silent. However, it appears that Christina is now tarnishing his reputation.

“What he’s stating is untrue and defamatory. There’s no evidence that Josh took any money from her or her kin. Making such allegations oversteps a significant boundary, and Christina seems to have done just that.

The note continued, ‘Rather than echoing Christina’s misleading claim, the media ought to question why Christina persists in dealing with this issue publicly, instead of using legal channels.’

After their split, Hall relocated from their $12 million mansion in Newport Beach, California, to a residence in Tennessee instead.

The division between them has been highly disputed and visible, with Christina frequently criticizing him on social platforms.

This reality TV personality parted ways with her third spouse as summer began, and she’s lately disclosed that this separation made her lose appetite for several weeks. However, she regained solace when her children’s affection was extended to her.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘One month later … I finally have my appetite back. I’m exercising again. My kids are happy and our house feels like home. ‘Those poor kids’ adore me … anyone who knows us for real knows this and that’s what matters.’

Josh chose to depart from his residence in Southern California, and it is reported that he had no desire for fame initially.

According to a source, Josh feels regretful about how the marriage concluded, yet he’s eager to start anew.

1) ‘On his own accord, he relocated his possessions from the shared property with Christina, as he has no desire for fame.’

The source mentioned, ‘It was intended all along for Christina, and he’s content to resume living life according to his desires.’

Josh insisted that he preferred ‘privacy’ – especially at such a ‘life-changing’ time.

The TV personality from HGTV not only alleged that Josh had stolen $35,000 of her personal funds, but also subtly suggested on Instagram that they had been experiencing issues in their relationship for a while.
