Christina Hall promises to ‘never ever give away’ her peace again amid bitter divorce from Josh Hall
As I delve into this heartrending tale of a couple who once shared their lives and dreams, I can’t help but empathize with both parties involved. Divorce, especially one that is unasked for, is an incredibly challenging experience – one that I have not had the misfortune to endure.
After a month since their divorce filing, Christina Hall shared that she’s slowly regaining her sense of self.
On a Friday evening, the ex-star of Flip or Flop, aged 41, shared insights into her journey through the conclusion of a three-year marriage. This process has involved spending quality time with her family, sharing laughter with friends, and keeping herself occupied with professional commitments.
About a month past, I’ve regained my hunger and started working out once more, as shared on her Instagram Story. My children are joyful, and our dwelling now truly feels like a home.
She added: “The children in need truly cherish me, and the ones who genuinely know our relationship understand this, which is most important.”
Regardless of her heartache, the mother of three expressed that she has enjoyed some truly outstanding evenings with friends lately, and has laughed heartily – a sensation she can hardly recall experiencing for an eternity.
1) She was ecstatic, saying, “Things are going great at work, it seems surreal!” She swore an oath to herself and her mentor, promising, “I won’t surrender my tranquility again under any circumstances.”
She mentioned, “If you’ve experienced the heartache of losing peace and then found it again, you’ll have an extraordinary appreciation for every moment of your life.”
In her final thoughts, Christina penned: ‘I’ve found immense gratitude for the here and now, and I’m embracing presence. If this is the lesson, I’m ready to learn. The universe seems to sort things out when viewed through a positive lens, as it often does.’
A short while passed, and she posted a heartwarming photo on social media, depicting herself snuggling with her son Brayden, aged eight, whom she has joint custody with Tarek El Moussa, as well as Hudson, their four-year-old son born from her marriage to Ant Anstead.
On Friday evening, she labeled this moment ‘a wonderful end to the week’, capturing an image of Brayden nestled against her, drifting off to sleep.
In addition to her two sons, Christina also shares a daughter, named Taylor, 13, with El Moussa.
Her latest post comes just days after revealing she is already fielding love letters following her split from Josh.
On Thursday, she posted a humorous communication intended for those persistently attempting to catch her eye.
In a note, she expressed, “Dear gentlemen, your heartfelt letters are adorable, but I’m afraid I won’t be marrying a fourth time.”
She and Josh wed in April 2022 before they both filed for divorce from one another last month.
Last weekend, Josh was pictured moving out of their Newport Beach home.
Christina’s post also contained shout-outs to realtors and people giving her parenting advice.
She wrote: “Dear fellow realtors – kindly refrain from sending and delivering costly packages; I’m not planning on listing my house.”
She concluded it with a message that appeared to be sarcastic, directed towards those who had been giving her unsolicited advice about her family and relationships.
As a seasoned parent myself, I fully understand the importance of seeking advice when navigating the complexities of raising children and maintaining a healthy marriage. Christina’s post struck a chord with me, as I too have found myself in similar situations where outside guidance has been crucial to my personal growth and family dynamics. I appreciate her willingness to share her struggles and seek support from others who may have valuable insights to offer. The use of the eye-covering emoji adds an element of vulnerability and humility, which makes me feel even more connected to her journey as a parent and spouse. It’s heartening to know that we are all in this together, learning and growing through shared experiences.
Recently, Josh shared his initial public remarks about the divorce through an Instagram post featuring a heartfelt selfie with his pet dog, where he was seen tenderly resting his head on it.
In the caption, he stated his preference for keeping matters private, particularly during such a significant transition as an unwanted divorce.
He promised anonymously, “I won’t disparage anyone publicly, for everyone has loved ones, acquaintances, and admirers who value them. Sadly, once something is online, it stays there perpetually.” (Without explicitly mentioning Christina)
Addressing his 92.3K followers, Hall made it clear: ‘We’re authentic individuals, living authentic lives. I’m not using this platform to share private aspects of me with strangers. Any relevant matters will be handled privately by our legal representatives when the time is right. Those who truly know us, understand our character.’
Christina and Josh each submitted divorce paperwork, with Christina specifying their separation occurred on July 7, whereas Josh indicated it was on July 8.
According to a source, the soon-to-be former spouses have yet to initiate discussions regarding their upcoming divorce settlement.
The couple tied the knot in 2022 and did not sign a prenup.
In this situation, Josh is advocating for an equal sharing of the joint assets, while Christina, on her July social media post, made clear that she has no plans to divide her private possessions equally.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, I shared that I’ve put in countless hours of hard work to create the life I have today, one that provides for me and my kids. Anyone who attempts to claim something that isn’t rightfully theirs or hasn’t been earned through honest effort should feel a sense of embarrassment.
The message went on, stating, ‘A man who lacks security and has an inflated self-image may attempt to disrupt you, yet, I persistently stand tall.’
Following Josh posting a message regarding ‘hope’ on his Instagram Stories towards the end of last month, Christina captured the image and wrote her reaction to it.
She expressed, in a bold manner, her expectation that her ex will significantly increase the amount he initially proposed to pay her, which is far beyond what she currently has been offered.
Following a series of divorce petitions, Christina alleged that her former spouse had moved $35,000 from her account into his, weeks afterwards.
According to the legal papers acquired by ET, the HGTV personality asserted that Josh had moved more than $35,000 from my independent rental earnings into his own account.
In the court documents, she stated that she was requesting Josh to explain where the money was spent and return it to her. The reason being that this money was designated for repaying loans, meeting obligations, paying property taxes, insurance, and maintaining the rental properties.
