Christina Hall claims ‘insecure’ ex Josh Hall ‘put a damper’ on filming their new reality show: ‘It was not fun’

41-year-old Haack, who’s putting her Tennessee residence on the market, shared with Entertainment Tonight that it was challenging to shoot the series because of her estranged spouse’s insecurities.

The reality star stated that when someone becomes unhappy or dislikes your success, it tends to spoil the whole situation for them.

After marrying in April 2022, Haack opted to revert to using her birth surname, Haack, instead.

It seemed like I wasn’t at my best, so as not to threaten his masculinity,” she questioned, “but who would want to exist in such a way?

‘It was not fun, to be honest,’ she continued.

Working with him was not pleasurable for me, which is why our separation has honestly made things significantly easier and infinitely superior in all aspects.

Haack said Hall’s exit from The Flip Off made production much easier.

To put it straightforwardly, let me tell you that collaborating with him on set wasn’t a joyful experience for me. Thankfully, our separation has made things significantly easier and overall more rewarding, if I may say so myself.

Haack experienced no issues while working alongside her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa (aged 43), who is the father of her children Taylor (aged 14) and Brayden (aged 9).

El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae, 37, co-star in the house flipping show set to debut in 2025. 

She mentioned that Tarek and I share a unique connection, one that others might label as playful or flirtatious. However, she clarified that this bond is more akin to the relationship between siblings.

For over a year, possibly even 18 months, Haack confided in El Moussa, sharing her concerns about the state of things with him.

El Moussa revealed Haack seemed to be returning to her old self after filing for divorce in July. 

‘At the beginning, she was going through it, you know, but she recovers really quick, he told ET.

It’s clear as day that her spirit has returned. She’s radiant with joy, brimming with enthusiasm for life. In essence, things are going well for her.

45-year-old Ant Anstead, who was previously married to Haack, was spotted shooting scenes for The Flip Off in Los Angeles lately.
