Christina Haack’s ex Josh Hall reveals he’s lost a family member… days after their divorce was finalized

Christina Haack’s ex-husband Josh Hall shared some sad news on Thursday.

The 44-year-old reality TV star revealed that his dog Stella passed away.

When you decide to get a pet, you understand that they may live shorter lives than us, and this is something we accept.

Regardless of all the preparation you make or how robust you believe yourself to be, there’s no ready-made solution for dealing with the grief that ensues when losing a cherished friend by your side, and the profound sorrow it brings.

Initially, Hall had planned to bring home a male creature, but as soon as he caught sight of her tiny face through the fence and our gazes met, I was captivated…from then on, she held sway over me. (Hall’s words)

This follows shortly after the finalization of his divorce with Haack, which has been ongoing for over a year since the initial proceedings started.

Haack and Hall did not have any children together, and, according to court documents.

Josh has taken the news of his dog’s death hard.

He additionally mentioned that Stella was not just any dog, but the “most loving and sweetest” one he had ever looked after. Moreover, she was his “sole source of constancy.

Besides providing a detailed account, he additionally expressed the pet’s health struggles as ongoing fights. In his own words, “It felt like she never gave up… not merely to survive, but to be by my side and shower me with her boundless love.

‘She did an incredible job and got me through it all.’

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m sharing an update: On August 26, I found a document of significant importance lodged in the courts of Orange County, California – a detail I uncovered from my daily perusal of court records obtained by The Daily Mail.

In the recent filing, it was disclosed that both Josh and Christina have relinquished their claims for alimony, a stunning revelation following Christina’s statement about having to provide some form of financial support to her spouse (as seen on Christina on the Coast).

On May 6, she compensated Josh with a $300,000 payment, serving as one aspect of the fair distribution of their shared assets from their property in Nashville. This settlement aimed to address all remaining disputes between them.

Apart from Josh, Christina additionally covered the lawyers’ bill of $40,000 in May, which included both Josh’s and the mediation attorneys’. Going ahead, each side will bear their own legal expenses.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I learned that I’d gifted Josh an unexpected $100,000 back in September 2024 – and the best part? No need for him to return the favor, according to Us Weekly!

In my recent settlement, I retained ownership of several valuable assets including the Bear Creek property located in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, my sleek 2021 Bentley, three additional vehicles, and a stylish motorcycle. Each party walked away with our respective possessions, ensuring a fair and amicable resolution for all involved.

In this case, the sentence can be rephrased as:

Christina received a property in Newport Beach, California that belonged to the community, and her old house in Franklin, Tennessee had been intermittently up for sale.

This version maintains the original meaning but is more natural and easier to read by using the verb “received” instead of “was awarded,” replacing “their” with “Christina’s” (since it refers to Christina’s former home), and changing the phrase “on-and-off the market” into a more descriptive “intermittently up for sale.

She too had claim to a 2022 Bentley, GMC, Polaris, and four all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) that were presents for her kids, which she mentioned.

The exes were awarded their separate businesses and bank accounts.

The ruling indicates that each party voluntarily and explicitly renounces and relinquishes the right to request further discovery, whether formal or informal, concerning any matters at hand, procedures involved, and an in-depth examination of the community property (shared assets and debts), their individual shares in it, as well as the financial situation of the other party.

It further states that ‘each party has accepted the economic terms’ of the Stipulated Judgment.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Josh and Christina’s attorneys for comment.

According to a source, this divorce between Josh and Christina was one of the fairest in reality TV history. Josh consented to divide all the income they earned as a couple, meaning both parties received their individual earnings before the marriage. Notably, Josh purchased every vehicle individually.

‘Josh chose not to accept alimony since they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement. In this case, Christina might want to express gratitude, but Josh seems content never to communicate with her again, and he appears to be quite pleased about it.’

Last month on Jeff Lewis, Christina shared tantalizing tidbits about a lengthy mediation session they had with each other, along with their legal representatives, which lasted for a full twelve hours.

‘Look, it’s not great, but I guess it’s done,’ she said.

At that point, she disclosed that she was obliged to make certain spousal payments, yet due to the pending approval of the final court documents by the judge, she couldn’t provide specific details about the amount or duration.

She hinted that details would become publicly available shortly, and promised to revisit the podcast for a comprehensive discussion on all matters.

On the other hand, court records indicate that Josh opted out of receiving spousal support, with joint assets being divided as an alternative.

The couple did not sign a prenup prior to their marriage on October 6, 2021.
