Christina Haack’s divorce finalized as it’s revealed she will not be paying Josh Hall spousal support

The divorce between Josh Hall and Christina Haack, television personality, has been finally finalized, about a year after her third spouse initiated the separation proceedings.

According to court papers obtained by the Daily Mail, a filing for a ruling took place in Orange County, California, on August 26, as per records, by an individual named Christina.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share this intriguing detail: Josh and Christina, both 44 and 42 respectively, have decided to forego their entitlements for spousal support – a stunning revelation stemming from the filing. This surprising move follows Christina’s declaration that she would be paying ‘some’ spousal support after her appearance on Christina on the Coast.

On May 6, she made a payment of $300,000 to Josh. This payment was both a share of the equitable division of their jointly owned Nashville property and a resolution to all outstanding issues between them.

In alignment with my commitment to supporting those I care about, I, too, took on the financial burden of $40,000 for Josh’s legal expenses and the mediation lawyers’ fees in May. From this point onward, each party will bear their own legal costs moving forward.

In September 2024, she had recorded a total of $100,000 that she’d given to him, as mentioned in the court decision.

In the settlement, both sides received their distinct assets. This includes the Bear Creek property located in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee (often recognized as Josh’s property), as well as his 2021 Bentley, three additional vehicles, and a motorcycle.

Christina received ownership of a property in Newport Beach, California, as well as their previous residence in Franklin, Tennessee, which had been intermittently listed for sale.

As a devoted supporter, I too acknowledge that these generous gifts I received in 2022 – a Bentley, a GMC, a Polaris, and four quad bikes – intended for my children, are indeed mine to appreciate, just as they were duly noted by me.

The ruling clarifies that both parties voluntarily and explicitly relinquished their right to further investigate or discover any additional details about the community assets and liabilities, as well as each other’s financial situation beyond what they have already uncovered. In other words, they agreed not to seek out more information about the total value of shared property and each party’s stake in it.

It further states that ‘each party has accepted the economic terms’ of the Stipulated Judgment.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Josh and Christina’s attorneys for comment.

According to a source, the divorce between Josh and Christina was considered one of the fairest in reality TV history. This meant that Josh consented to divide equally all earnings they accumulated during their marriage. As a result, both parties ended up retaining what they owned individually before tying the knot.

‘Josh bought each and everyone of those cars on his own. Hence, he kept them.

In my expert opinion, he graciously relinquished any claims to spousal support. Since we didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, Christina might want to express her gratitude to Josh. However, Josh seems content with never crossing paths with her again in the future. This chapter of sensational tabloid drama is now closed for Josh. I can assure you, he’s thrilled about it.

Recently, during a discussion on Jeff Lewis’s show, Christina disclosed some intriguing insights about the lengthy mediation session they underwent, which was attended by themselves, their respective lawyers, and lasted for a full 12 hours.

‘Look, it’s not great, but I guess it’s done,’ she said.

Additionally, she disclosed during that period that she was liable for a certain amount of alimony payments, however, due to the fact that the concluding papers were still awaiting the judge’s approval, she could not provide specifics about the details.

She playfully hinted that more details would become public knowledge shortly, and she promised to revisit the podcast to discuss all the details in depth later on.

In my professional perspective as a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to clarify that, in this specific case, Josh chose not to pursue spousal support. Instead, the marital assets, which were jointly owned and had been funded by our combined resources during our marriage, were equitably divided between us. This approach reflects a mutual understanding and agreement on the management of our shared wealth during our union’s dissolution.

The couple did not sign a prenup prior to their marriage on October 6, 2021.

According to a source, the split between Christina and Josh turned out to be more intricate than what we initially perceived.

According to reports, the delay in the proceedings was due to Christina and her legal team reportedly causing missed deadlines, resulting in additional costs, time, and a postponement of the divorce process for both parties.

‘Almost everything she shared with the public was to control the narrative.’

The source went on to say that Josh chose not to engage in what they referred to as immature activities. Instead, he behaved responsibly by letting the legal proceedings take its course. Now, they are able to proceed with their lives.

In July of the previous year, Christina and Josh’s divorce proceedings began, and it took them 10 months to reach an agreement in their separation. During this time, they found themselves entangled in a heated legal dispute that garnered public attention, with notable events such as the sale of her $4.5 million property in Franklin, Tennessee, being part of the ongoing drama.

In October, the house went up for sale, only to be withdrawn after 20 days. It was put back on the market in December 2024, but came off again in February 2025. The explanation as to why it’s no longer being sold is not known.

This year in January, I learned from the Daily Mail that a court decision required Christina to transfer $150,000 from the proceeds of our home sale to Josh.

In the court filings of October 2024, Josh proposed a monthly spousal support amount of $65,000. He described this proposal as a “reasonable settlement offer,” but Christina’s lawyer deemed it “excessive.

A few days ago, according to court records, it was alleged that in July 2024, Christina imputed that Josh moved $35,000 from her independent income generated by rentals into his personal bank account. At that point, he refuted this assertion.

As a devoted fan, I recall during one episode in February on Christina’s HGTV series featuring her former partner Tarek El Moussa, aptly titled “The Flip Off,” she announced that Josh had allegedly requested $3.5 million.

She informed her business associates that her court date had been rescheduled due to a poorly crafted proposal by Josh.

‘He asked for $3.5 million from me,’ she alleged.

Currently, Christina is in a relationship with the entrepreneur, Christopher Larocca. It was reported by Daily Mail in January that their romance has been blossoming for approximately a few months.

There was some ambiguity regarding the commencement of their relationship timeline, as Larocca’s former partner, Andrea Deanna, claimed that Larocca started dating Christina while he was still married to Josh. However, Larocca refuted these claims.

During the time when Christopher and Christina were both in a relationship with each other, yet Christina was still legally married, and they continued to cohabit, this is what she confided to DailyMail.com.

Not long after the identification of HGTV celebrity Josh’s latest partner, it became known that he is now in a relationship with model Stephanie Gabrys, who resides in Nashville.

This summer, Christina has been delighting in holidays with her partner, and they recently celebrated her 42nd birthday together in July at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

I recently posted a picture of us and a video of the beach at the Four Seasons Resort, accompanied by the caption, ‘Hey 42, I appreciate you.’

Eventually, it became clear that her show, Christina on the Coast, would not continue airing, as HGTV officially stated they would not renew the renovation series.

The television personality had been married for the third time to Josh. Prior to that, she was married to Ant Anstead between 2018 and 2021. They currently co-parent their 5-year-old son, Hudson.

Apart from that, she was in a marital union with Tarek El Moussa from the year 2009 until 2018. Together they have a 14-year-old daughter named Taylor, as well as a nine-year-old son named Brayden.
