Christina Aguilera, 44, recreates her iconic Dirrty look as she takes to the stage in chaps and a leather bodysuit 23 years on from song’s release

Christina Aguilera was back oin her Dirtty era for her Saturday night concert in San Francisco.

The singer captivated the audience at the Portola Music Festival, bringing a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of 2002 with a stunning entrance and outfit.

Taking style cues from her ‘Stripped’ era, Christina Aguilera, 44, turned heads in a dazzling outfit featuring silver chaps and a leather bodysuit.

The revealing leather outfit was decorated with silver chains and beads. The star completed her early 2000s look with fingerless gloves, fishnet stockings, and tinted sunglasses.

Oh my god, it was PERFECT. She started with “Dirrty,” of course – her iconic song from 2002! And she didn’t just *sing* it, she absolutely *owned* it, and the stage was LITERALLY exploding with flames! It was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen.

‘It’s been 20-plus years,’ she told the crowd at one point. ‘It’s been such a ride.’

The festival performance was a surprising move for the artist, as she’s now collaborating with Grindr by contributing her song lyrics to the platform.

Over the weekend during the festival, people in the US using the dating app heard a playful snippet of Christina Aguilera’s song “Come on Over” whenever they got a new message.

Christina looked fantastic during the performance, especially considering years of rumors about her weight.

Despite losing around 50 pounds, the Grammy-winning artist hasn’t addressed rumors that she’s using Ozempic.

Back in 2010, people speculated she’d had a breast augmentation, noticing a scar under her arm – a typical location for surgery incisions.

Earlier this year, Christina shared that she’s stopped worrying about what people think of her body.

In an interview with Glamour, Christina revealed that music industry executives expressed disapproval when she gained weight in her twenties, admitting they preferred her when she was a much thinner teenager.

Christina explained in a recent interview that bodies change a lot between teenage years and your twenties. She shared that as she matured, her body naturally changed shape, but this was often met with criticism, with people commenting on her ‘getting thicker’.

‘Then I had industry people say: “They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.”‘

As she’s gotten older, she’s shared that she no longer lets comments about her weight bother her.

She explained that she’s reached a point where she doesn’t care what others think and won’t let their opinions bother her anymore.

The mother of two explained that it’s important to confidently take up space and not worry about what others think. She said, ‘What other people think of me is none of my concern.’
