Christian Wilkins teases shock hair transformation as he posts photo showing masses of long blonde hair in a rubbish bin

Christian Wilkins has sparked speculation he has cut off all his hair.

Over time, the model born in Sydney, now 30 and the son of popular TV figure Richard Wilkins, has been widely recognized for his lengthy, luxurious hair.

On Tuesday, Christian posted a picture on Instagram hinting  he’d made the big chop. 

In the snap, clumps of blonde hair could be seen discarded in what appears to be a dustbin. 

‘Is that me?’ he captioned the post.

Following our contact with Christian regarding a potential makeover, we can verify that he continues to flaunt his long, luxurious hair.

The model swiftly dispelled rumors about getting a haircut, asserting that the hair found in the trash can wasn’t his.

‘I was just out and someone popped their wig in the bin,’ he said with a laugh. 

In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia, Christian mentioned that he’d consider cutting his hair only if he landed a movie role.

At Australian Fashion Week, Christian, who relocated to Los Angeles in 2023 to focus on his acting ambitions, announced that he was willing to trim his thick mane for an upcoming film part.

‘Yeah, I mean Anne Hathaway won an Oscar for doing that [for Les Misérables],’ he said.

‘Only if I can win an Oscar, that’s where I am!
