Christian Horner’s secret heartache: Red Bull boss suffered tragic news just days before he was sacked by F1 team

In a poignant twist, it was discovered that the sudden termination of Christian Horner as head of Red Bull was overshadowed by a heartbreaking personal event: his first wife had passed away ten days prior, following a prolonged fight against cancer. As a devoted admirer, I find myself compelled to share the heartrending news: Beverley Allen, aged 58, who was connected to the former F1 boss through his teenage daughter, tragically passed away at her home in the enchanting Cotswolds region, last Monday. This unfortunate incident occurred two years after she was first diagnosed with a cruel form of eye cancer.

For 14 years prior to his marriage to Geri Halliwell, who occurred after their separation, Beverley was part of the same circle. Besides having a child together, he also assisted in raising her two other children and maintained an amicable relationship with her.

During the early and mid-2000s, Beverley and Horner were an inseparable duo. Her unwavering support played a pivotal role in Horner’s remarkable Formula One achievements.

One of Beverley’s friends shared with TopMob that Beverley was an exceptional woman, and it’s incredibly heartbreaking to see such an unfortunate event befall her.

A few years back, she discovered she had eye cancer, knowing the diagnosis wasn’t promising. Yet, the news remains a heart-wrenching surprise.

‘Beverley was loved by everyone who knew her. It’s just heartbreaking.’

15 months following accusations of inappropriate behavior by a female coworker at Red Bull Racing, Christian was dismissed, and it was only days later that this occurred, which happened to be her (his colleague) time of death.

Despite Horner denying the allegations and being found innocent by a KC, independently appointed by Red Bull for investigation, the controversy persisted.

According to a source, Christian is deeply saddened by Beverley’s death; he not only mourns the loss of a longtime friend but also grieves as his daughter now has to face life without her mother.

In October 2014, Beverley felt deeply saddened when Christian, aged 51 at the time, ended their relationship and started a new one with Geri, while their baby girl was only six months old.

In November of that year, the couple went public with their relationship and revealed their engagement. They got married at St Mary’s Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, in May 2015. However, Christian’s parents decided not to attend the wedding due to their reported displeasure over his breakup with Beverley and his new romance with Geri.

Even though they’ve separated from their son, it’s been noted that the parents continue to maintain a close relationship with Beverley and her granddaughter.

One of Beverley’s friends remarked that life had shown a harsh side towards her, given that she had recently welcomed a long-awaited daughter only for Christian to leave her.

In more recent times, I’ve managed to mend my friendship with Horner and Beverley, the ex-publican, and our bond has been remarkably peaceful and harmonious.

Beverly, being six years older than her ex-husband, already had two sons from a past relationship when they first encountered each other. Over time, Horner had taken on the role of a stepfather towards these boys.

After parting ways with Christian, Beverley resided in a captivating Grade II listed house in a picturesque Cotswolds village, sharing the space with her daughter and their pair of dogs. It’s known that she has two sons from a past marriage as well.

One neighbor shared with TopMob, “This news is truly heart-wrenching. She was an exceptional individual whom we deeply cherished, and she will be greatly missed by us all. In recent times, Christian seemed to be visiting frequently, and I believe he was offering as much support as possible.

A fellow neighbor expressed their sentiments as follows: ‘We’re all deeply saddened that Beverley passed away at such a young age. Our hearts go out to her family during this difficult time. Ever since her passing, her house feels eerily vacant. We will undoubtedly miss Beverley dearly, as she was an integral member of our community and everyone held her in high regard.’

The 18th-century townhouse, which served as Beverley’s residence, features an expansive 2.5-acre garden, five spacious bedrooms, and is renowned for its elegance among the town’s top properties.

A friend of Beverley’s mentioned that life had been unkind to her, particularly because she had recently given birth to their long-awaited daughter, only for Christian to leave.

‘She really didn’t have it easy, we are all devastated.’

Since 2018, Beverley has stopped sharing photos of herself and Olivia on Instagram, having previously posted such images frequently.
