Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s Heartbreaking Tribute to Their Beloved Dog Penny

As a devoted admirer, I echo the sorrow that Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John Legend, are experiencing following the unexpected passing of their cherished French Bulldog, Penny, at the tender age of eleven.

On a Saturday, the 39-year-old model expressed heartbreaking news through a touching tribute and some charming photographs showcasing her dog’s lively spirit, which she had shared online.

Today, our cherished tripod companion, Penny, left us peacefully while sleeping. This is what she shared in her photo album’s caption. She came into our lives on the same day John and I exchanged vows 11 years ago. Over these years, she witnessed every baby we welcomed, every sorrow we endured, and every joy we celebrated.

The woman with four children went on saying, ‘She cherished being loved above all else, enjoyed gentle caresses, and was always eager to play with any ball until her final days.’

As a lifestyle enthusiast, let me share a heartfelt thought with you all: In the vast library of our existence, each furry friend we welcome into our homes may only be a single chapter. But remember, for them, you are not just one chapter – you are the whole book, their entire life’s story. Cherish these moments and the impact you have on their journey.

Dear Penny, what a stroke of fortune it was to have you with us! Give my regards to Puddy and Pippa, won’t you? It seems like you’re all reunited now.

From where I sat, nestled beside the couch, I couldn’t help but beam with joy, sharing the space with my beloved Penny. She graced us with her presence, perched elegantly above me, adding a touch of charm to our moment together.

In the following image, Penny is depicted holding a tennis ball between her teeth, while another photo features Penny along with Miles, who is six years old and Legend’s son.

She also included a selfie of her next to Legend as Penny snuggled up between them.

Under Teigen’s post, Legend commented: ‘I loved this girl. We will miss you, Penny.’

The family has experienced a tragedy, occurring mere weeks following their evacuation from their 17.5 million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills due to the persistent Los Angeles wildfires.

At the start of this month, due to unforeseen circumstances, Teigen, Legend, their four kids – Luna Simone, Miles Theodore, Esti Maxine, and Wren Alexander – together with their four dogs and pet bearded dragon had to temporarily stay at a hotel, providing shelter for the whole family.

Before fleeing her home, she shared a snap of herself packing, along with an emotional update.

She titled this image, taken in her wardrobe, as “unbelievably strange.” She covered her mouth with her hand while expressing fear, “I’m really terrified now… Preparing to leave.

In the given picture, a star was positioned beside a black case that resembled a suitcase, and she collected some of her most valued possessions from it.

Prior to leaving, she confessed that she was speechless when she called the uncontrolled wildfires a “horrific landscape resembling hell.

She wrote: “Things are good for us at the moment, but it feels strange to say that considering there are many people in our circle who aren’t doing well. I appreciate your contact. Currently looking for any possible means to assist our community; if you come across something, please share.

In a heartfelt conclusion, the woman who once graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit edition expressed gratitude towards ‘May God bless the firefighters and all emergency service personnel.’
