Chrisley Accuses Guard of Tearing Down MAGA Sticker Amid Pardon Plea

Todd Chrisley and is wife Julie Chrisley are hoping President Trump will grant them a pardon.

In a chat with TMZ, Chrisley’s attorney, Jay Surgent, shared that Chrisley is seeking clemency and claimed that he’s been mistreated in prison, such as having his MAGA emblem taken off his cell by a guard.

In June 2022, Chrisley, aged 55, and his wife, Julie, also 52, were found guilty by federal courts of charges related to tax evasion and bank fraud.

According to Surgent’s statement to TMZ, Todd and his spouse are hoping for clemency, but ultimately it is President Trump who will decide on their petitions. Todd has confidence that he will receive a fair review, as he believes he didn’t get the constitutional protections he deserved within the criminal justice system.

On Tuesday, Surgent reported that he had an extended talk with his client. During this discussion, Chrisley shared details about the supposed mistreatment he’s experienced at FPC Pensacola – the correctional facility where he’s currently serving a 12-year sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud.

Chrisley, however, is now moving to another prison as FPC Penascola is shutting down.

In their discussion, Chrisley claimed that a MAGA sticker he’d put on a chair within his cell was recently torn off by a prison staff member.

Chrisley asserted that he remained silent due to apprehension about possible repercussions, once the guard took off the sticker.

Although Surgent claims that other prisoners share the same practice of having stickers on their cell chairs, Todd was uniquely singled out as the one whose sticker was confiscated.

Chrisley suspects the guards have it out for him due to his support for Trump.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share a recent revelation about the ex-reality star, whose daughter Savannah echoes my own adoration and spoke of their family’s legal predicament during her 2024 Republican National Convention speech. In a private conversation with his lawyer, this icon admitted that the guards in his cell frequently subject him to an unsettling practice they call ‘shaking down’.

Chrisley alleges that the guards have turned his mattress upside down, scattered his books on the floor, and rummaged through his wardrobe.

In one instance, a guard allegedly poured a Pepsi onto his bed.

Surgent thinks that the reported mistreatment is a result of the unfavorable spotlight Todd shone on the supposed prison conditions.

Regarding Todd’s assertions, the Federal Bureau of Prisons chose not to offer a statement to TMZ. Instead, they emphasized their dedication to maintaining the safety and security for those incarcerated, their staff, and the general public.

They noted that any accusations of wrongdoing will be fully examined, and if these claims are verified, suitable measures will be implemented. In instances where the allegations prove to be true, it may involve referring the case for potential criminal charges when necessary.

In August 2019, Todd and Julie faced accusations for tax evasion as well as conspiring to defraud banks.

It was claimed that the couple provided fake financial records with the intention of obtaining large sums of money through loans, totaling over $30 million. Ultimately, they were convicted for defrauding local banks.

At present, Julie is incarcerated for a term of seven years, and her request for a reduced sentence, made in September 2024, was turned down.

The federal judge chose not to reduce the sentence for the fallen television celebrity, maintaining that it would remain unaltered, regardless of her plea for leniency.
