On Friday, I, an overjoyed Marvel enthusiast, was granted a touching peek into the childhood of one of my favorite stars. He graciously shared an endearing throwback photo to honor his sister’s significant birthday milestone.

A single day after celebrating his siblings on National Siblings Day, Chris Pratt shifted focus to his sister Angie, marking her special day.

45-year-old Chris Pratt, known for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, shared a series of nostalgic photos on Instagram. The pictures show him, his brother Cully, and Angie as children, with their arms wrapped around each other in front of a sparkling Christmas tree.

The last image revealed them, now adults, smiling broadly while gathered at a table, engaged in a game of cards and exchanging hearty laughter.

Wow, I’m amazed! Can you believe it? Your 50 now!”, Chris Pratt wrote along with the pictures. “I adore you so much!! You’re an amazing woman. An exceptional wife, sister, mother and friend. The funniest person I know!

He added, ‘Sending you so much love today and every day! Happy Birthday Sissy!!!’

Yesterday, the actor from Jurassic World took to social media to honor his siblings, Cully and Angie, on National Siblings Day. He shared a heartwarming photo of them together and wrote, ‘Happy #nationalsiblingsday!! There’s no one I’d rather go through life with than you two. I love you both.’

Additionally, his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger (daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver) also marked the event with a heartfelt message of her own.

She shared childhood photos alongside siblings Patrick, Christopher, and Christina.

‘My heart and soul. The best people I know. My people,’ wrote Katherine, 34. 

‘I’m thankful for them each day and would love to carry them with me everywhere, as I yearn to share all experiences together, like an old-sister bond.’

Chris, whose mom worked at a grocery store and dad was in the construction industry (lost his life in 2014), has openly discussed how stardom impacted the dynamics within his family.

In a 2015 interview with The Talks, he opened up about their reactions.

I find it quite peculiar, yet heartwarming at the same time. My sibling has always been incredibly supportive, molding me into the person I am today. He dishes out constructive criticism and helps keep my feet on the ground, which is truly a blessing. However, it’s a complex relationship we share because sometimes, those who are nearest can cause the most difficulty.

Pratt remarked, “It’s more like, ‘Man, how is it that you ended up with such a fantastic acting career while I spend 40 hours a week at a job I’m not particularly fond of, just to stay afloat?'”

This version maintains the informal and conversational tone of the original, while also using more universally acceptable language.

‘I’ve experienced it and I’m thankful, but I realize that it might put additional strain on those closest to me, as it may distort their viewpoint in some way.’

Currently, Pratt’s reaction to his brother-in-law, Patrick Schwarzenegger, appearing in a suggestive manner on White Lotus, has been widely shared online, leaving many astonished by his response.
