As Avengers: Doomsday commenced filming, enthusiasts were in for a treat with a four-hour live broadcast unveiling over two dozen actors from the upcoming movie. I recall, I live-blogged the entire event. Familiar names like Anthony Mackie and Chris Hemsworth were among those revealed, but others caught us off guard, such as the diverse X-Men cast. Moreover, there were some stars we didn’t anticipate seeing in the film.

Although not all significant characters in the “Avengers: Doomsday” lineup were unveiled during the live stream, some were noticeably missing. Among them was Chris Pratt. It seems plausible that because they mentioned specifically that Star-Lord would reappear, someone must have had a plan for his return. The inclusion of this detail suggests not only will Star-Lord make a comeback, but the other Guardians of the Galaxy likely won’t be present. Marvel Studios deemed it necessary to clarify this point.

It’s evident that some strategy is in place for Star-Lord’s return. There’s a possibility he could make an appearance in “Doomsday” or perhaps in the sequel “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
